You mean the 256 colour PC version had to be backported to AGA?

Careful. You used two of the three phrases, which if used in the same post will summon @ppcamiga1 spewing vitriol for anything that isn't O(E)CS or PPC running AmigaOS 4.x.

@thread

I'd really appreciate it if we didn't go down the technical rabbit hole. Yes, overall game development and gaming support in Win98 was more established than it is in any of the Amiga NG platforms. Even if WinXP is a more accurate representation, it's still not a good comparison.

Also, I don't mind you sharing your re-imagined classic Amiga gaming wants for other platforms. I literally closed my original post with:
Quote:
Of course I can go on, but I'm keen to hear what reimagined Amiga title(s) you would be keen to play on Windows PC, Xbox, Playstation, Switch, smartphone, or maybe even on Amiga NG.

Whilst the spec of 060/75+RTG should be considered as the barest of minimums, I'm happy to hear about how any of you might re-imagine a classic Amiga title for this hardware target as well.

The key ask here being "re-imagine". My hope was to get insights into three key areas:
1. What contemporary game mechanics are favourable
2. Which game genres are enjoyed
3. Which classic Amiga titles are reminisced

I could've created a complex poll, but I thought it would more effictive if we kept it in a conversational style. That way if someone said "Superfrog 3D in the style of Super Mario 64", then I'd get #openworld #platformer #cartoon #mascot

Ha. Another one that also doesn't like AGA?
