| It looks like something has gone wrong with the list of recent Aminet uploads.
All the entries have today's date - or maybe the date of the latest upload.
Best regards,
Niels

Yep, I'd say that's the polling date.

Hmm ... spoke too soon; now it shows 20th dec. for everything again, although the newest according to Aminet's own Recent page is from the 19th.
Best regards,
Niels

I see the temporary loss of access to PMs has been resolved.
irc seems rather sparse. Is this behaving similar to an irc split? I can not seem to connect to .no or .se to check for other members.

The IRC services are not restored. I have yet to setup any of them, and we might have to zero out the services database, it's not simply a matter of just copying some files over. _________________ --- Sibbi

Help, I'm stuck in my Christmas avatar!
Now that Christmas is officially over, I wanted to change back my avatar to my usual one.
But after I have chosen the relevant picture file, there is no "Save" or "Update" or whatever button, just a warning message in red about my old avatar being deleted.
I thought maybe the new server software has some kind of incompatibility with Odyssey, but I tried with FireFox on Windows as well, and it looked the same.
So can I please have some sort of confirmation button back, so I can get out of this elf suit .
Best regards,
Niels

This is a problem following a recent server change. I have passed the error across to the web developer for the site. _________________ Test sig (new) |

I was going to change my Christmas avatar but now I see there's no point trying! Maybe it'll stay all year like a damaged TARDIS!

Just an observance today of what I see in case it might assist anyone, particularly those who indicated nothing but empty channels.
Server: irc.amigaworld.net
The following channels are showing members nicks present:
#amigaworld #amigans #aminet
The above 3 also show with the channel "/list" command.
Anyone with additional info/corrections, feel free to share.

| amigaworld has been down a few times today and when it’s up it kinda “jerky", long delay before it delivers data… I suspect dns resolving problems, solution is either fix resolvers and just turn off logging of connections with client hostnames. _________________ B5D6A1D019D5D45BCC56F4782AC220D8B3E2A6CC |

Let's not confuse the owners with Sibbi who has tirelessly worked for decades here to keep the site functioning for no pay and little thanks.

I noticed that some [confirm] buttons went missing, those buttons might only be displayed via PHP if the user has the right to change it.
If those troubles are related to the server changes there might have been an error in the PHP script (or in the access of the user database) so you will need someone with the right know how to fix it.
Maybe, if the scripts for this forum are still used somewhere else, you can find the fix using browsing a support forum or google.
