By what you write and they way you write it, I am still of the opinion that you don't know what EMU68 is....

@OneTimer1

You cannot have a deamon waiting in the background that would open a program if that message is sent from the host? I for example can open a windows app from winuae, it doesn't open a new windows session, wouldn't it be possible in the reverse?

For what software? Everything would need to be ported… again.

@ppcamiga1

That is 100% false.

EMU68 is nothing like WinUAE, the clue is in the name of the software, it only emulates (Emu) a 68K processor (68) nothing more.

Otherwise, please explain how any classic none rtg/rta games have their audio and video coming out of the original Amiga ports and not the pi's HDMI. An emulator like WinUAE (like you try to claim) couldn't do that.

So this does confirm 100% to me that you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

Luckily Emu68, amigaos drivers for Pi hardware, FPGA firmware for pistorm and even the pistorm hardware design are all open source - everyone can look there and see that you are just a liar.

@ppcamiga1

I'm not I own a card, I can see how it works in my Amiga.

I'm also still waiting for you to back up your assertions with some evidence and to also answer my question from before, a lack of a response only solidifies either your complete lack of knowledge on the subject or that you are just trolling (or both).

Also please elaborate on what you mean by emulates the OS, which OS and how does it emulated it?

And native a Unix MUI can never be "compatible" with original MUI, unless all your MUI software is running as threads within one process and one memory space... which is what we already have with AROS hosted and for that matter, UAE.

AmigaNONE is no hardware legacy with Commodore's Amiga hardware.

In terms of the instruction translation process, PiStorm-AArch64-Emu68 is not much different from microcode 68K with a simple CPU core or Transmeta CPU that translates X86 into a VLIW core.

With the PC, the Northbridge side with the CPU is new, with ISA (LPC) PC legacy in the Southbridge and legacy VBIOS with modern discrete PC graphics cards.

PiStorm-AArch64-Emu68 still uses Commodore's Amiga hardware.

Unlike PiStorm-AArch64-Emu68, WinUAE's Amiga AutoConfig has no governance over host hardware.

UBoot or OpenFirmware is a foreign non-Commodore Amiga firmware.

The Amiga is not a Mac. Keep failing.

To keep this vaguely on-topic - who owns the rights to AMIX at this point anyhow? Does this new incarnation of Commodore have any plans for future activities beyond selling the Ultimate 64 to an already quite saturated market that is largely also collectors rather than users?

Commodore's AMIX is tinted with AT&T's IP.

One of Windows NT's main agendas is to remove AT&T's expensive Unix license. The same for NexStep that led to MacOS X.

Apple's A/UX with AT&T's expensive Unix license was a non-starter for the mass market.
