The same happens here but not all the time sometimes it will switch, a bit odd really.

Sorry aboout all the problems. There seems to be some really weird bug related to the joystick code. I spent all evening yesterday trying to figure it out, but no success yet. I know the AmigaOS code worked fine with VICE 1.17, but it doesn't with 1.19 for some reason. (Note to self: Make more tests with latest core BEFORE making a release.)

As for fullscreen. It only works correctly when double size is enabled it seems. I'll look into that too when I've found the cause for the joystick bug.

@AmiDog

Fullscreen doesn't work here with double size enabled either (same effect as I described above). However if I enable double size, PAL emulation and double scan, in window mode the picture looks pretty good!

I have ported Arnold to AmigaOS 4 but the sound is broken (need works) and the file routines need some rewrites, so I will not release it until it's finished (probably not soon).

From: I'm actually flying into a bug!

I have two Logitech Dual Action pads, AmigaInput sees them and I can fully configure both in VICE 1.19, but there's one catch: just one of them works in the emulator as far as a joystick would on the actual computer.

@AmiDog

The Morphos Sources to Frodo are on Aminet

http://main.aminet.net/misc/emu/FrodoSrc.lha

Has some interesting new features

Quote:

- Catweasel support: use original SID chip for genuine C64 sound
- Alternatively you can use AHI to emulate 6581 or 8580
- Multithreaded MUI GUI, Arexx port, Commodity support
- Joystick support
- Display scaling (hardware accelerated)
- Colour preferences
- F12 toggles between full screen and window mode
- F11 hides status bar in full screen mode
- Alternative OpenGL scaling (if you dont like overlay)
- AHI output can't block sound from other music programs

Could they be used to add 9 PIN Joystick / SID to the latest VICE ?

@Thematic

It seems the VICE developers broke the joystick code somewhat when adding the experimental netplay. Basically, if the OS specific code tries to update both pads during the same emulated frame (as I always do, during the emulated vsync to be precise), the update for the last of the two pads will erase the update for the first... I haven't tried to fix that problem yet...

@JurassicC

VICE already supports a SID on a CW3. I haven't had the time to put my CW4 in my A1 to see if the same code works for the CW4 too...

Great work full screen works better now though you still have to re-select it after a new start up even after having saved the config, but this isn't too much trouble I just use the keyboard shortcut twice.
I've just noticed the back space key seems to print a 1 instead of deleting in the vic20 module works fine in all the others.

Fullscreen works great in this version, great stuff!

A few Questions:
1. How can I make it start in full screen by default? Save Settings on Exit doesn't seem to save the video settings.
2. Is it possible in full screen to disable the status bar at the bottom?
3. What is scale2x supposed to do? It does not seem to have any effect here

3. It should make the window larger by a factor of 2*2. If I remember correctly that worked in the first OS4 build, 2005?

It's 'double size' which does that :)

@COBRA

I stand corrected. In an effort to pay more attention, I rtfm, but could find nothing beyond the "Many options doesn't have any effect" in the readme.

1. Looks like the setting isn't saved. Will fix it.
2. Not yet, but it will become an option.
3. Have a look here. Last time I tried it, it worked. You can't use it together with PAL Emulation though.

To get the true C64 with TV feeling, select Double size, disable Double scan and enable PAL Emulation.
