@aldur

I take it that it is being build for ClassicPPC (os3.9)

Question to developers is there any difference between code written for Classic PPC and OS4

@afxgroup

I decompress the archive, then run the executable.

I have 1024mb of ram, maybe it is the reason (????)

Now, I know I shouldn't get excited about something that doesn't work, but... FANTASTIC! I think this calls for a nana

I would ask where to download it,* but as it doesn't work and ixemul.library doesn't work on OS4, there isn't really much point.

Look forward to trying a working build though.

Chris
* but somebody has posted the URL while I was writing this message. 78M for something that doesn't work? You've gotta be joking.

@ikir

great to hear even if it doesn't work.
I really like Firefox but it is huge compared to Opera!
Opera also has many nice features other browsers don't have. Unfortunately we will not see an Opera port soon on our A1. Opera would be THE browser as it only needs 2 MB of memory to run! On Opera I like the Fastforward and backward functions which do bring you back to the first page of a site, no need to click severaltimes the back button.

On Firefox I like RSS and the extension modules!!! Ever tried the FTP extension or better the weather extension? You do have actual weather infos somewhere on screen of a location you want!

Let's hope an AOS4 PPC native version of Amizilla (though FireFox as name would be better) will come up very soon.

BTW Firefox since its release has already 6% of the browser market! Will Firefox kill IE?

@Framiga

Obviously it's made to run on a classic Amiga. If it was made for a PC it would be bloated!!!

Uhm, wait.

Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). Sometimes I don't even know what people mean.
