Not so much Amiga news as Amiga IN the news:

Mainstream magazine Popular Mechanics October, 2017

I was partiularly "touched" by the statement:

Quote:
There, the Amiga name languished for two years before two of Gateway's own engineers bought the rights for $5 million and incorporated Amiga Inc. in 1999.

I guess Bill and Barry can add "engineer" to their resumes now.

Although there were multiple inaccuracies in the article, it is nice to have a mention of the Amiga in PM again. I still have the last Amiga related article from PM (a 1991 issue) in which they compared the Phillips CDi and the Amiga CDTV. They liked both, but scored the CDi higher since it had a more extensive software library. They did mention that the CDTV had the advantage of being made into a full-fledged computer (Amiga).

"Amiga" only with a very narrowed perspective

@Templario

Understandable as outside AmigaLand the IP holders get more representation (still not a lot) compared to non-IP holders. Rightly or wrongly.
