It is rumoured to be a new Amiga model. Does anyone know about that or has more info? Last edited by vision on 21-Jul-2018 at 02:08 PM. Last edited by vision on 17-Jul-2018 at 10:04 AM.

Maybe it's finally happened and it's now a 'Tinder clone' website! _________________ "Art challenges technology. Technology inspires the art." John Lasseter, Co-Founder of Pixar Animation Studios |

I dont know if I said this before but every time I see you I have a "vision" of my old dog. That looks like your avatar. Or used to when she was still with us.
But getting to the topic at hand, this smells suspiciously like FriendUP and a Pleasance ex CEO of Commodore. |

Depends on the language, but in English it's Denise. Hence the custom chip of the same name in the Amiga._________________ I've decided to follow an awful lot of people I respect and leave AmigaWorld. If for some reason you want to talk to me, it shouldn't take much effort to find me. |

I doubt it is anything to do with Freindup, unless they have also bought up Hyperion then they would likely be entering a legal minefield if they associated their online OS in anyway with the Amiga branding.
My theory based on wild speculation and a few observations is that it could possibly be something to do with A-EON Technology.
1. They have a history of buying up Amiga related I.P, Image FX etc, Amiga.org and AW.net.
2. As g01df1sh mentioned the hidden code found on the Amiga website is very reminiscent of the whole "what is X" thing when A-EON first announced the AmigaOne X1000.
3. I can't find the source, but either here, or over on Amiga.org in recent weeks someone spotted Matthew Leaman had registered a web domain called Amiga Technologies or something similar. Can anyone remember the post I'm referring?
4. David Pleasance name has been mentioned, him and Trevor have appeared together a lot recently! _________________ 4000T/BFG9060 CD32/Elsat ProModule, TF360 CD32/ Edu's CD32 <> A1200 Adapter, Vampire V2 CD32/ FMV Module |

ok thanks .. I must have only noticed the thread when it was bumped in June, still 2017 is practically last week in Amiga terms. _________________ 4000T/BFG9060 CD32/Elsat ProModule, TF360 CD32/ Edu's CD32 <> A1200 Adapter, Vampire V2 CD32/ FMV Module |

"miss america/universe no longer judging on looks"...... oh boy, is the world really that insecure? Its a freaking vanity pageant, yet the ugly/insecure people of the world needed to feel better about their shortcomings. Simple fact of the matter is some people *are* born with physical and/or mental advantages, no amount of insecurity or p.c.ness will change that. Doesn't necessarily make them better, but it does make them more suited to pageantry. People simply respond better to healthy, disciplined people than they do overweight, self indulgant, ugly people with no more will power than junkies (I've recently grown to be repulsed by these sorts of people, not because of the way they look, but because theyre pathetic with no self control or discipline). |
