As the title says, what is the best way to create a restore or back up of my X5000 AOS4.1 FE setup?

I recently did a fresh reinstallation of my X5000 and I'm very happy with my current setup. I would like to have a restore image to use in case I have a fatal problem and I had to reinstall everything from scratch.

@WeiXing3D

I have a Kingston USB stick, formatted to NGFS filesystem, automounted, bootable, with priority 5.

If I remember correctly, I just copied files from SYS: to it.

@WeiXing3D

Best way is to create another blank partition and simply copy the whole system partition to it. If the new backup partition is marked "bootable" in MTB, then it should appear in the list of bootable partitions displayed by AmigaBoot (unless you have "amigaboot_quiet" enabled in the SD-RAM settings).

Then, when you have a boot problem, you can simply select your backup partition and you're away...

Every X5000 system we sell is supplied with the USB Emergency Recovery flash drive.

Have you lost the USB drive ?

@amigakit
I bought my system from a different vendor and no, I don't have an Emergency Recovery Boot USB. How can I order one?
