| The title says it all. I was browsing some of my links and found that amiga.net.pl was not working anymore and found that they recently have done a namechange and website change to Bitronic.
For anyone unfamilar with this, their website publishes various amiga books, magazines and games.

Not really a reliable distributor.
I ordered a game (box) in December. No package came. The old site was down and so were the old emails. No information nowhere, at all.
A fellow told me they've changed the domain.
I have been in contact for nearly two months only to learn my package was lost in the P.O. and is retrieved. When I stated my interest to exchange the boxed game to a printed Amiga magazine (of a similar price, instead of refiund), I received a copy... but not really the most current issue!
So I will think thrice before I get myself anything Amiga from that shop. My fellows had similar experiences as I did (or worse). _________________ Amiga 1200 + WARP 1260 + AmigaOS 3.2 |

To counter that, I purchased two hard bound books from them last year and they arrived in the UK within a couple of weeks, which given the pandemic I was really pleased about.
They were also really well wrapped and the parcel was sent with tracking so I knew where it was at all times.
If it wasn't for the difficulties in shipping brought on by the UK leaving the EU, and the delays that is creating in the short-term, I would be ordering more from them right now. |

I have found their books to be interesting. Reading the polish newspaper ads that the books are also wrapped in, tightly, to be quite interesting. :) Amiga User magazine was pretty solid - are they still publishing new issues? Their Amiga NG magazine was also quite good but issues were sparse and irregular. |

I also have had no problems with the books and other items I have purchased from their site. I will buy more from them in the future, and recommend them to any other Amiga users.
I suggest that anyone purchasing from them realize that they are a small operation and mail/shipping from their location might not always be the best, so keep that in mind when purchasing, and don't have unrealistic expectations._________________ Amiga! Looks like one man is doing all the writing, which I think is cool. I could be wrong. _________________ John 3:16 |
