You know, it’s funny... when I retired my G4 Mini, it was because macOS couldn’t cope with doing that kind of thing anymore.
I’ve been playing with my G5 setup since the last release of MorphOS and the hardware support seems quite a bit better than I remember from a few revisions back. I feel like I could turn it into a daily driver.

Wayfarer 1.16 is now out. Fixes a crash in video decoder and disables screensaver when playing video.
