Is your Raspberry Pi an Amiga?

Note: I left AROS out of this, since as far as I know it currently only runs on ARMv6.

@bison

I treated myself to a pi400 6months ago, it’s amazing computer for the price, I feel it not quite fast enough to replace a desktop but dam close, ie 1080p video/YouTube is not 100% smooth, and few task feel a bit slow but for Amiga emulation is pretty dam good, amiberry getting really good on it now and the recent Pimiga and Amikit Xe release for the system prove you can have a top end Amiga system now for £35.

I don't have an RPi on account of time constraints, but if I did I would certainly run an Amiga if I could. Probably AROS hosted, but if that's not working then I'd see what I could do.

@amigang

Yeah, I think the same -- the Pi 400 is usable as a daily system, but just barely. I wish there was an 8GB version; that would help. The Pi 500 may be the one.

@simplex

AROS used to run on Pi, and maybe the Pi2? But both of those are really too slow (and don't have enough RAM) for web browsing.
