I have 2 or 3 A500 Amiga systems and would gladly sell you one of them, but I am in the USA, so shipping is going to be expensive. I'm not interested in trading for any other equipment, as I'm actively trying to trim down my Amiga and MorphOS collection. You would still need to source a PSU, as one from the USA would not do you any good in the UK, or you can just build yourself one from standard PC PSU components.
Let me know if you are interested in buying one of my A500's. _________________ Amiga! The computer that inspired so many, to accomplish so much, but has ended up in the hands of . . . . . . . . . . |

Appreciate it but I'll probably pass due to the shipping you mention. Wish international shipping was more reasonable. I once got a bit of tech from Amazon coming from China and it cost me £0.67 and free shipping. I don't understand it. |

It's pretty easy, it's mostly to do with politics being made on our backs. _________________

It probably is. Consider how many different hands an international parcel goes through on it's way to you. Sombody is supposed to be paid at every stage of the journey.

The CCP want to dominate world trade and do so through bad faith agreements, corruption, subsidies and slave labour. Factor at least two of the above into your 67 pence item's journey. Factor all four in when you consider obtaining the raw materials and production of that item. |

I’m sure they do in the form of fake Motorola chips and scam products claiming to be something they’re not! There’s sure to be a A500 Omega out there somewhere in the Capitalist/Communist Republic of China! Last edited by BigD on 24-Jul-2021 at 09:28 PM.

New Star Electronics (Chinese company) had the chance to get a slice of the Amiga pie in the 90s but screwed over the C= UK bid for the parent company to help Escom (curse you Petro ). We heard nothing else from them after that! Last edited by BigD on 25-Jul-2021 at 01:47 PM.
