54 E-Mails for an AOS4 Wallpaper

Christian Rosentreter has made a cool looking Wallpaper for MorphOS
(Yes, i know - but it's really looking "funky"!)

And we could get one, too. Especially re-designed to fit the needs of AmigaOS.

The only thing he wants are 54 E-Mails from different people stating
"I want it for AmigaOS, too!". Take a look here and just read the questions.

Come on guys, let's beat those MacOSX users...

@Raziel
We alredy have Kick-ass backgrounds by OS4 users/fans, why would we want a converted MOS background?

Wizz.

@Raziel

The mos mackground is designed around the different boxes, and I don't see how that fits in to AmigaOS, I guess we can name the boxes E-UAE, WarpSNES, FPSE, FRODO, DarcNES, xMAME, AMInes, etc. then again some one come and hit me on the head for calling boxes emulation instead of micro-kernels, we have task based emulation the transaction is already going on whit AmigaOS, Box's is for lamers

@Wizzard_o

The first step is always, get one of the guys work converted, so he know we
like it. The next step is, of course, get the guy himself converted, so he'll
NEVER again do anything for MOS!

Cool backdrop. I don't think the fact that they are boxes make a bit of difference. It's still a slick looking backdrop. But I don't know about a red box like someone suggested. It may look okay, but I'm not sure

@Herewegoagain

The author/creator of the backdrop suggested it. It started as a joke i think.
But hey, if we get enough mails, we'll see what he can do from it.

Imagine, all red and a tiny little boing ball, whooo

Well I've e-mailed him.
I've also asked him why 54 e-mails?

I don't know, the porting idea is just mine

Christian Rosentreter does not have an AmigaOne and i don't think that he want to have one, right now ...

@samo79

I'm not that into programming but isn't it that porting from MOS to AOS is
"easy" compared to porting from another platform?

Asking isn't very expensive (i read somewhere)

BTW: Is there a screenshot somewhere, didn't found any.
Not that i start supporting something and then it sucks!

True, i'm not into programming too, but you are right, this porting it's not impossible ! In fact some times ago i contacted Christian for ask him about the opportunity to make an MLDonkey version on AmigaOS4 but he refuse

replying to my own post

That's an insider joke. ;) At Amiwest 2003 AmiNetRadio showed
a "BUY OS4!" screen as easter egg. But the "S" looked like "5",
thats why 054 (OS4) :)

thats why it requries 54 e-mails - quite funny actually!
