Remember when the AOneXE DMA/USB fixes became officially confirmed as exisitng? Ever since then, my XE motherboard is sitting at a dealer...fixed...but I'm waiting for the dealer to find time to charge me, and ship the board back to me. Basically, for about 4 months now I've been told "I've been busy", that is if I do manage to reach a certain person over the phone, which in itself is a daunting task.
So...we've got a fixed board...busy to ship it out and charge me...
Geez. This is no way to do business. I would not take this for a minute. So they have your board done and they are to busy to charge and ship it? Put some force in it and make the guy cry. I would have spilled the beans on him. Tell him your going public so he better ship it. But even so, 4 months? Oh my god. You know for the good of the people here that dealer should be exposed. This makes my blood boil.
It's tought to decide what to do. What I'd like to accomplish is get the board back in one piece and in working condition. I wouldn't want to piss anyone off so that they ignore me for even longer.
This business practice reminds me of DCE.
It's funny that originally, I was told that the turnaround time for the fixes would be one week.
