You do not tell which TCP/IP stack you intend to use, but generally you just pick suitable settings for a connection with Ethernet (the Ariadne device driver) and that you wish to use DHCP. The device driver for Ariadne I'm sure you'll find on its installation disk. That's assuming you take the cable from your other computer and plug it in the Ariadne. If you wish to have both computers online simultaneously that's more complicated, but not by very much. _________________ : AmigaOneXE (unmod.) 750FX/512 MB +stuff & AmigaOS 4.(0|1) : A1200/68060&96MB/SCSI/EM1200-Voodoo3 & OS 3.5 : A500/1MB : Pegasos (ff) 512 MB & MorphOS Praise seitan. |

Yes. I own the exact card. You need to tell me what TCP/IP stack you plan on using? Got OS 3.9? Got questions? well email! If the card is broken, I got brand new Xsurf 3 cards if needed! ciao. |

Genesis. First, select ClickTab Interfaces and set the Gateway to the IP address of your router. Second, select ClickTab Resolv and set DNS to the IP address of the Domain Name Server supplied by your internet provider.
Interface tab IP address 192.168.xxx.xxx destination gateway // Gateway to the IP address of the router Sana-II Devs:Networks/ariadne_ii.device (copied from disk) Resolv DNS (Domain Name Server) 24.153.22.195 24.153.23.66
Hosts tab 69.192.xxx.xxx -> your Miggy

Hi Antoniox,
Unfortunately, the ARIADNE network adapter is for AmigaOS and cannot directly connect to a modern broadband modem. However, you can use software like MOD or NetLinker on your current system (Windows/Linux) with an emulator such as RetroArch which supports these adapters via VICE emulation layer.
If you're looking for direct connections in the past Amiga world, there were solutions using USB-to-Serial converters and software like BroadbandOS. For current systems though, I recommend exploring retro computing communities online where enthusiasts might share more specific guidance or even help with translating manuals if needed. |
