| We've had a thread or two about Amiga logos. Some of us have also mentioned Amiga slogans in other threads, so here's a dedicated thread for them.
I'll start the ball rolling with two of my own, which I've mentioned before.
The first one could depict a Microsoft window logo being smashed through by a boing ball, with the slogan:
"Amiga: the Windoze breaker."
The other could revolve around an Australian theme for the Amiga, with an Amiga-stylised boomerang, and the slogan:
"Amiga: you threw us away, and we came back!"
Well, if you think those are weak, let's see if you can do better! _________________ SEX SUX

I think "Amiga: Back for the Future" was a popular one for a while. Besides I don't want to aggrivate the Windows freaks until we're sure we can beat them in terms of performance. Last edited by Samurai_Crow on 04-Sep-2005 at 04:52 PM.

Yes, I like this one, and I think we should not "attack" other platforms in the slogan. |

Yes indeed, that was good, even though it wasn't exactly true at the time! Quote:

Indeed, that would be like taking on a basilisk (aka c0ckatrice) armed only with a feather duster.
I doubt any of our slogans will actually get used- just put 'em up here for a laugh!_________________ SEX SUX

I agree no other platform should be bashed in the process but 'Back for the future' just sounds like 'Back to the future' to me
Although at the moment I don't have any alternatives |

An Island somewhere near Australia/New Zealand, small. Became famous when selling their internet addon address ".tv". Got lots of money, but that's not the point. It's that the island is "drowning" because of the global warming and it will be uninhabitet in the near future. The people may get a new life on the nearby country Australia and New Zealand, so...
'It's us, we are sinking, but still we make a great bargain and we WILL find anew home!'

"Amiga Back For the Future" is now a bit outdated unless there is a new movie...
"Amiga, Lord of the OSes : Return of the Computer Home"
"Enter the Amiga World" / "Amiga Reloaded"

"Amiga uncloaks"
(1) We capture the Star Trek cult market (2) The name is associated with something very real, extremely powerful, and yet hidden for a period of time (3) The name then also indicates an "unveiling" is about to take place
Don't take any of this too seriously.
Best Wishes, #6

Well, Amiga doesn't actually mean girlfriend in Spanish- that's "novia."
If my Amiga was my girlfriend, I'd be concerned about which port was the right one..._________________ SEX SUX

That might do, so long as we don't aim the new Amigas at children!_________________ SEX SUX

| Hello Roquefort,
What about...
My girlfriend's back and your gonna be in trouble, hey nonny na my girlfriend's back
Oops! That's a theme song, not a slogan. My mistake.
Perhaps something like "Mi Amiga... su Amiga" would work?
Wait a minute! We don't want the Amiga "su" ed again.
Well, I'm out of ideas for now.
