On MZ there isn't much bashing towards AW, as for Moobunny... well it's somewhat an underworld on itself and it is to be expected, I too consider myself of AW crowd and don't get offended with those critics, should I?

@pixie

Yes, I agree they don't start thread specifically for bashing AW on MorphZone. Just those
snyde remarks here and there. MooBunny is much worse though. But look at who's writing
many of the remarks. Many MOS owners, but not only them of course. It's a sad bunch of
people really. I don't see OS4 owners doing the same (writing about how stupid the people
are at other sites). That's my point with the post.
Btw I don't get offended personally either. But I don't like people who talk sh*t about others
without having the guts to do it to their face or atleast with having their real name to back up
the statemants with.

Why bother about what happens to OS4 and its hardware if you're not interested in OS4?
It's not like I go to Mac interest sites tell everyone how bad Steve Jobs is doing his job.
Some of those who complains do it for strange reasons. Seems many are paranoid and
think Amiga Inc and Hyperion is out to trick everyone. That Troika is a hoax (not knowing the
meaning of the word) and such (note I'm not saying anything about the quality of the hardware).
They should really seek professional help IMO. Yes, some OS4 owners are quite paranoid
about BBRV/Genesi aswell..

@COBRA

You are right, I am off with this fruitless discussion.

Hi @ChrisH

Me & others have suggested these ideas years ago (that MOSemu would benefit OS4), but nobody wants to listen . They would rather have OS4 vs MOS vs Windows+Linux, rather than OS4+MOS vs Windows+Linux.

I was listening! I thought it was all about the Amiga community - OS4, MOS, & AROS. Each is too small to exist by itself, but taken together as a whole- AMIGA! Too bad there's no decent management system to put it together and succeed.

Hi @Tuxedo

Simply explain your opinion and go on on discussion

I'm with yoursupport of MOS emulation on the AmigaOne. The war
is breaking out over practical economics - Amiga software
on Amiga hardware. How do we define AMIGA today?

@Snuffy

Amiga (IMHO) was the great and nice OS that we all know.
Now hw war or wathever...
Only a beautifull OS to use and share with others...
Unfortunately we have poor (and BAD) hw, and a small community divided by 2(AOS4/MOS - I dont mention AROS because it was in developing and for x86 arch) with NO cooperation excluding some cases...
That was REALLY SAD!
Another time...Why not to cooperate?
ATM no OS4 or MOS future unfortunately with so little users base...
Than...(again) Why not to cooperate?

Tuxedo.

The meaning of the word is "something intended to deceive or defraud". I think after BB3 and BB4, it is pretty much established beyond any doubt that (a) Troika had nothing to show at BB3, and never could possibly have thought that they would, and (b) Troika had no working Amy prototypes prior to BB4. And yet, they made public statements to the contrary on both occasions --- if those statements were not intended to deceive, I don't know what is.

For me, the jury is still out on whether they ever truly believed that they could build a motherboard from scratch (in which case their ignorance of their own ignorance is mindboggling), or whether they decided to play a prank and just didn't know when to quit.

Hehe I thought about just the same when I wrote the post
I tried to word it so I didn't attack anyone special. The "sad bunch" comment is for those
that write garbage just for the sake of it. Or do you not agree that attacking people (or even
companies) anonimously on the net is the work of a coward?

I guess my point got through anyhow..

I hope to see *pages* of dancing bananas when (if) some OS4-capable hardware is actually on sale, along with Helgis bouncing around like a demented bee . Oh, and the look on Sehund's face would probably be priceless

It's good to see some people still can produce something quality WITH the twist.

I would love to continue this thread altrough sadly we must read always the same flame war :-/

Aniway if Stéphane Guillard has the source code and don't want to continue the development he can freely release as open source
