@Lou
I said nothing about how they work, only that they belong together by Itec.
Posted on the forum, I expect respect and not ridiculous outcome of how web pages look.

Are you referring to Itec?

Yes!
I always thought that Itec is an empty shell that is used when necessary. But I am starting to believe that Itec has replaced "Kouri Capital" after bankruptcy in 2001. The bankruptcy of the Amiga Inc in a difficult situation and you still see the outcome of.

@linnar

Truth is very hard to determine linnar.

On the prior page for instance you offered info about John Grzymala:

Quote:
CFO Itec LLC(Investment Management industry)1988 - Present (21 years)

And yet we have the New York State documentation saying otherwise.

Quote:
Current Entity Name:
ITEC, LLC
Initial DOS Filing Date:
DECEMBER 13, 2002

And we have Garry Hare on this very site in an interview claiming Itec has been around since the Gateway buyout. (within days after being published here, Garry was sued by Amiga Inc., a case in which the judge basically called it a no-brainer and said Garry was the one in the right.)

Quote:
Question 1.12: Who is Itec and what is their relationship to Amiga, KMOS and you?

Garry: Itec has been an investor in Amiga since the purchase of the assets from Gateway. It remains an investor today. Itec is also the Senior (first place) Secured Creditor of Amiga Inc. KMOS purchased the OS asset from Itec. There is no formal relationship between the companies (KMOS and Itec). I am not involved in Itec in any way.

source

It would be interesting to know -your- source for your quote to compare, but I'm guessing we'd just have another conflicting date and story, which has been the pattern throughout.

As to -what- constitutes Itec presently, I can not say. I've seen the update at Hakia (which I linked to in this thread with present/former staff by position).
At least they do not hide the demise of Pentti Kouri. If Itec still functions as an entity, it would be interesting to know and in what fashion.

Edit:spelling. bah.

I found the business relationship within Kouri businesses when I searched for "John Grzymala" which was a very good friend with Kouri. Kouri gave him the financial responsibility for more of the companies:

I am not good at formulating me in English so many who read my posts think I know when I just guess. Guessing does most of this so I hope nobody takes offense.

That's the often mentioned "mail drop" in New York.

She figured all these people (the bandwidth people, amiga inc people, etc) were sharing this address as a drop-off point (UPS, Fed-x and so on).

And guess who the mail was really for yet AGAIN...

I have been following the various corporate development. It appears that this company was active from 1999 to 2002 and after 2002 are "sleeping".

What is interesting right now with Kouri, who inherited his assets and what that person's intentions. Should he resume support Amiga Inc or what?

I see a lot of hits lately for "Ryszard Krauze" in google news.
Unfortunately, I can not read Polish.
Could you report if there is anything related to our current affairs connected to any of the recent articles?

I can read Polish. And I also worked in Prokom's VC company.

Ryszard Krauze is a guy that got lots of governmental IT deals (he "won" tenders) in beginning of ninties (so after end of communism in Poland). It was of course, because of extensive connections of his.

Then he established Prokom Software that shortly got most governmental IT contracts in Poland (which was and is estimated as fourth IT market in Europe). He was in top 3 richest persons in Poland all time. Then there were plenty of affairs, even yet around 2007/8 (don't remember) he was forced to flee to Switzerland because of ongoing investigations.

Anyway I remember that some journalists found him in a hotel and shortly after some military helicopter with local NSA guys took off to arrest him there. The flight was cancelled on its way but man, that's fun!

After this incident all accusations evaporated (and Poland had unexpected parliament elections shortly...). Anyway now Prokom brand was killed and all assets were purchased by a company COMP later renamed ASSECO. Just the name changed, also the said companies just merged.

The guy is rich, powerful and connected to politics (which reads in Polish: ex-communistic secret services, guess who's the real boss...). There's one more funny story that some other bureau (local FBI) went into his house to search for some evidence (before Switzerland and before new elections). Then he called the president to tell them to **** off. That's what they did shortly after.

Perhaps now many of you can see why I wanna immigrate (scheduled: 2012). This place is ill. And corrupted. Bad place to grow kids you know...

I can recommend Czech Republic.
(Of course it is not much better there, but still nice and friendly place for at least few years.)

End of advertising campaign

@DiskDoctor

Right. We know about most of his problems from links in this very thread.
But...

I was inquiring as to the latest hits in google news for his name.

Reason, of course, since he was a member of the board of directors of Amiga Inc. and funder for same.
Not to mention the lein filed by ProKom in the legal settlement papers.

Naaa. Just that his portfolio shares goes down. And that he just purchased more shares in Bioton which just hit the bottom (which is normal in hard times because it's a biotech company).

That's all

@pavlor

Unfortunately I made a decision 14 years ago already - and it's OZ
