@Raffaele

Maybe the court documents will shed some light on what the ambiguity with that buy-back clause is about..

But picking a fight with one of the most productive software houses for AmigaOS seems to be a very clever idea indeed.

That's very sad...

I hope in Ben (Herman) a great Legal.

Why not a joint venture.... this means only one thing: AI hasn't OS and want to bring it (with brute force) from Hyperion.

It's not better to make a deal or join the AI and Hyperion ?!

@Troels

The whole OS4/AmigaOne debacle, from start to finish.

It's hillarious.

@dirigent
6 years to put up an OS who was said to be done in months wouldn't be exactly what I would call as 'the most productive software house'.

It’s not hillarious nor funny.
Who knows how many months may pass to end up this trial.
It’s also sad to see Amiga Inc versus it’s OS developer and frankly the only company that manged to stay on the train...

@Raffaele

Seems like the long awaited show down comes now.
In the end some things might get clarified.

edit: shortend to the essential

@Raffaele
Amiga-Inc made the deal with Hyperion, just in case Amiga-Inc went bad. Amiga-Inc has no soul, I for one will not buy an Amiga-Inc sponsored HW solution.

Looks like goodbybe to Amiga from me. How the hell can you convince me to buy another amiga related board. Been here since 1989, goodbye Amiga.

Well.....

*@"#!?=-@ !!!!!

Amiga Inc is good at showing that they never
deserved to get the rights to the IP in the first place.

/sarcasm on

I guess we can explain this amongst us, this has
to be the communitys fault.

/sarcasm off

@Zylesea

Whilst some issues might get clarified, it's going to cost quite a bit of money and time to do so. Can either Amiga Inc/Hyperion afford to have this out?

I'd like to know whether or not they tried some form of mediation.

I think you won't be the only one leaving.

/ abit off topic
How about AROS, can there be any future
there ? Can Amiga Inc destroy AROS too ?

Perhaps it is a good day to start supporting AROS more, as it rightly deserved from the start...
