Please note that the use of "morons" referring to Forum members in unacceptable.

/me takes off her Moderator's hat

Now... for a lighthearted look at the term "Box", please enjoy this short YouTube video!

Caution: This video contains images of a young woman and (slight) cleavage which COULD be thought of as provocative... or not.

@Sundown:

The correct name is "duct" tape, not duck tape. It comes from its original purpose, which was to seal around the joins on airconditioning ducts.

The CORRECT name for the best-selling brand of duct tape in the USA, where sundown lives and I am from is DUCK tape, a Henkel product. So, either are correct.

Sorry if you have been offended. Your original sentence can be understood with 2 different tones. And the smiley at its end did led to think it was one with an ironical tone, which was not it seems.

Bye,

The others were making fun of your sentence. Tight, hot box? Can you think of anything else that could mean? :)

Ah, oh, hehe...
Well I failed to see the comedy in that but I do now when you point it out. Sorry if *I* offended anyone then, I just didn't get it...

If I had written "place" nstead of "box" I would have gotten the point myself, just found "box" a bit too far from "pants" or whatever to realize anyone would take it as a joke.

about CPU FAN

I might just hot-glue the fan on the hairs of that hot stuff.

But notice that the fan is later less painfull to remove if you just screw it in.

I prefer hot & silent rather than cool & noisy.

(duct tape? Huh! Too kinky for me!)

@sundown

Deniil715 got it right. The lower the temp the longer it will last. I would also be lying if I said I didn't want higher clocks also.

Come on Flex

Lower temperatures extend battery life, but high clock speeds are desirable for performance. Balancing both is key to optimizing laptop use.
