I looked at the Guru Meditation and 4E454D4F in hex translates to 'NEMO'. By accident or not? :)

No accident, it`s not the stock GIF pic around the net, it was created for the page

So we have:
- NEMO
- OM
- ENIGMA

... more on January 2 2010.

There's not much to go on yet.

@All

Other hints...

OMEN / NEMO

X is also greek letter symbol for "CHI"...

X is the starting letter of XUL, that is the actual graphic engine and library on ìwhich coul run TImberwolf/Shiretoko/Firefox and other applications related to Firefox, such as plug-ins.

It is not standard AmigaOS windows...

Should it means that XUL has being integrated into AmigaOS as standard Graphic Engine?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XUL

-----

Other minor speculations:

-----

Regarding Guru Meditation:

0000-0008 4E454D4F

= CPU ERROR NEMO?

CPU ERROR NOBODY?

1) NO CPU PRESENT ERROR?

2) NO CORE CPU PRESENT ERROR

Is that something related with MultiCore SMP in future AmigaOS?

"E" "D" "F" letters in 4E454D4F has being discovered they are different colors than others.

Someone stated it could stand for "Earliest Deadline First" that is an algorythm used in Real Time OSes...

Does it means AmigaOS wil be cerfified as RTOS?

@Raffaele

Well considering they are porting Firefox, it makes sense that part of that project is going to need and OS enhancement.

Better than mooning mega men LOL !!!

Some people stated that the 'What is X?' window on the aeon site is no standard Amiga window.
http://www.a-eon.com/gfx/wixwindow.png
Well, it is the same (apart from the rounded edges) as in the screenshots of timberwolf.
http://www.amigabounty.net/attachments/project/44/tw7.png

edit: the 'what is x?' window seems indeed to be XULrunner

The word Nemo in the guru, and the decoded text mentions Omen (nemo in reverse endian) and the X.... Could easily be reference to the dreaded x86 topic...who knows.. Good fun speculating though... I get this feeling there could be an anti-climax ahead but I hope not!!!

HNY all.

I am currently investigating wikimedia but it points images uploaded 01/01/2010

For previous images I have to check deeply (I cant found direct link to search by date... Damn... Where is it?)....

Also someone knows Friedens'nicknames on Wikimedia?

It will makes any search more easy...

We also have the three letters that have a different colour in the Guru.

@Metalheart
the wixwindow is a XUL one... hmm.. So we get a new HW acclerated GUI based on XULrunner?

But is that all (and is that it)?

Anyone noticed about the black/yellow X, that when you rotate the thick part (the part that goes from the topleft to the bottomright) of the X 180 degrees, and move it to the left it makes a V ??
And the outher sides of the V are now black with the middle yellow !!

Hmmm, weird.....

If you really want to go too far, there's faint text in the workbench window background, behind the question mark icon. Do you speak gibberish?

I'm guessing an anagram but there's a few words to come yet.
You've got most of Amiga and Memory there already...

Credits to Boot_WB and BinoX they decoded the gibberish as a base64 string:

What is X, if not a letter,
Perhaps an Omen, or even better?

Look back to messages 131/134.
