| Hi @sundown
@Develin #20 I really miss the one who really saved the Amiga... I always believed it was this guy: 87 - Petro Taras Tyschtschenko / Amiga Technologies Amiga was on the 'edge' and he orchestrated the release of an all new Amiga OS -- 3.5 !
@Rude 103 - George Peppard - No idea why! Can't' you spell "A-Team"! As Mr. T might say- "Fool" "I like it when a plan comes together!"- Hannibal Smith
@-SAM- Oh yes. The A-Team action sequences were rendered entirely on a host of VT equipped A2000s. Thanks for the info
@TrevorDick 1. The mystery Amigan inside the spacesuit is not a spaceman ... 2. The mystery Amiga is not already one of the other 110 people in the picture. I remember reading that NASA used A2000s in telemetry for a lot of space missions. How about Chris Craft/ Nasa Mission Controller. Wild guessing...... _________________

but I agree now it looks more like Vince Pfeiffer |
I do not see this reported on AW, and it is somewhat late.
I hesitated to place this in the thread more on topic, since people seemed to focus on making fun of Vince's weight/health issue, so I place it here:
In Loving Memory of Vincent Eliot Pfeifer who passed away on June 28, 2020.
My sympathies to all that knew Vince.

Commiserations to those that knew and loved him. I can’t say that his efforts at Amiga Inc are understood or appreciated but I appreciate he was probably a nice enough chap just somewhat out of his league attempting to build on the Amiga’s legacy with very little to show for all the Amiga Inc/Pentti Kouri shenanigans If anyone has an obituary from Vince’s/Amiga Inc’s perspective then I’d try and read it with an open mind.
It’s a shame no one at Gateway saw a future for the Amiga. It led to the brand being used by opportunists and we came very close to brand being licensed to every genetic plastic consumable product shipped out of China e.g. mouse mats, memory sticks, towels, Christmas Card Makers etc
One thing is clear; Vince, Fleecey, Bill etc have made it impossible for A-EON or AmigaKit to ever sponsor a stadium or sports event I think the Amiga credibility is zero after the ‘Amiga Center at Kent’ debacle.
RIP Vince. If Gateway had not cancelled the Amiga MCC then I probably would never have heard of you! _________________ "Art challenges technology. Technology inspires the art." John Lasseter, Co-Founder of Pixar Animation Studios |

Thank you for posting that.
I realized too late that we have very few old timers left that even remember some of the names, and I should have included more info.

Hard to find the right place to put this, but it's about a website competition and so was this thread originally:
https://www.amiga-news.de/de/news/AN-2020-12-00064-DE.html
It's a quiz with prizes from AmigaNews and sponsors.
