Mitchie is there, where he should be, with his paw on the A1000. 8)

As for George Peppard?

If you can find them, maybe you can hire, The A(miga)-Team?

I love it when a plan comes together.

@all

49 - Susumu Hirasawa, a japanese musician who uses Amigas in his concerts, has composed the OS 4.1 boot jingle

107 - Seems Manfred Schmitt to me, Escom's founder:

http://www.amigahistory.co.uk/atphoto.html
http://www.manager-magazin.de/koepfe/artikel/0,2828,grossbild-232471-229048,00.html

And btw Petro surname is spelled "Tyschtschenko".

@drHirudo

Talk about bad timing - I suggest a thread to collect our guesses, and promptly go to bed. When I return, the thread is created, grown to three pages, and all the names I had already found have been added by others!

Oh, well. At least out of the 32 names (excluding Thomas and Hans-Jörg) I had written down here on my piece of paper, we agree about all except two. And one is number 1, where I had hastily jotted down Stefano Guidetti (with a question mark), but I agree now it looks more like Vince Pfeiffer. The other is number 37. I thought he looked like Bill Cosby, are we sure that is not the case? (He did appear in some Amiga commercials back in the day.)

And exactly that fact -- or the fact that we failed to realize it much sooner -- had major impacts on Amiga history. So he has earned, if nothing else, his rightful place here.

Best regards,

Niels

Actually, to be fair, I was referring to George Peppard. who is not in the picture and AFAIA has nothing to do with the Amiga.

Oh, and while I'm at it, a couple of typos:

#70: Allan Havemose (not Havemouse)
#57: Dr Greg Perry (not Gregg, I believe)
#67: Gilles Bourdin (not Giles, I believe)
#107, Manfred Schmidt (not Schmitt, I believe)

Of these, I am absolutely sure about Allan (he is Danish, after all), the rest only 95%.

Best regards,

Niels

Oops, my mistake, then.

Anyway, someone else did ask the same question about Bill somewhere in one of the threads, so just pretend I was responding to that one .

Yeah, I'd have to agree on that one. I didn't know/remember his face, but this shot is convincing.

I have also read that surname being written as Schmidt, but every source I could find about him refer to him as Schmitt, see the two links I provided earlier and his Wiki page.

Solved the Friedens "mistery", too :)

9 - Hans-Joerg Frieden
73 - Thomas Frieden

Their photos have been taken from here, read the notes under the photo no. 13:

Sounds like I was wrong. Luckily it's not likely to be important in this context.

Okay, at least it's the best clue we have so far, although of course it assumes that Elbox remembered correctly who was who .

Right, this leaves only four to go! Nos. 6, 10, 21, and 97. Provided all the rest are correct, of course.

Best regards,

Niels
