It certainly looks like the inspiration for the artwork mock up.
Will it be the actual A1 X-1000 case though?

I can't wait to see what the X1000 will look like. I like all the interior tech but for me, love the exterior also.

Wouldn't that terminate the warranty by opening the box?

I believe most Amigans will open the box the first chance the get to check out the "engine" so it would be interesting to hear how that would affect the warranty. Usually prebuilt boxes will be sealed with a sticker.

And it would of course be interesting to know what kind of warranty the Amiga X1000 will have.

As far as I have understood at least Danish laws, and most likely this would be true all over the EU, a desktop computer would be considered to be built for opening and expanding or switching boards etc. This should not be able to invalidate any warranty - or more precisely, if the warranty says so, it will be automatically null and void and replaced by the normal consumer protection rules.

At least as long as it hasn't been obviously mishandled and/or treated against the instructions in the user's manual.

But IANAL ... Ben is, though .

Best regards,

Niels

Looks like a very nice case, if that is to be the final design, but I have one question, where does this pic fit
