Why yes I do. I am using an IBM p520 (dual core power6+, at 4.2GHz, with two threads per core). The whole box with 4GB ram and dual 146GB 15k rpm SAS drives with taxes and all was about CDN$13000.

Sure makes a nice box for compiling powerpc code though.

So the power6 and power7 is certainly faster than the xbox360 CPU, without a doubt. They may be expensive, but so what, that doesn't make them any slower (just less cost effective perhaps).

Based on the extra cost to go to a model with 2 dual core power6+ chips, I would guess IBM wants around $3000 per power6+ CPU, if they actually sold them individually and not in complete systems.
