Dunno if it might help Amiga family of OSes, but OSNews.com seems to be all excited about Broadcom open sourcing their wireless drivers

For the moment perhaps more immediately interesting for the AROS Wireless project. Though I wouldn't mind seeing that ported over to OS4, so then perhaps exciting for more of us.

It might help AROS wireless stack I believe. Now it's currently supporting Atheros if I'm sure.

BillT on Sep 10, 2010 at 5:28 PM expressed interest in features relevant to the AROS Wireless project and their potential benefits if implemented into OS4.
