@Deniil715

My FSB is not overclocked (133 Mhz).

My memory performances are very equal to any G4@933 AOne (just see other results).

My ram is ECC, Aone with non-ECC ram performs even better.

And, yes, AOne ram is in some cases a little bit faster than Peg 2.

My AOne is just a very basic AOne with a faster CPU installed, without any other trick.

@Seiya

Thanks for all the charts! They deserve to be published!

Yes, SAM 460 results might improve, as SAM 440 did with few fixes, but its nice to see it is already fastest in RAM and VIDEO, while AMCC CPU`s are really about G3 performance and SAM 460 is just "higher clock 440" in CPU terms.

However, more real apps (like Blender) tests would be needed to see does that help much (RAM, video) especially when RadeonHD driver is out and some 3D optimization (likely to be with AmigaOS 4.2)

Until those days, those who have G4 Altivec can feel CPU superior.

Anyone has interest in producing nice bar graph about 68k speeds of Classic Amigas...?
(A2000CHIP, A2000FAST(16bit), A4000/Chip, A4000/060/FAST,...)

Any chance this program can be updated if possible to show PCI or SGRAM frequency.

Nope. Crisot is working on another project and has no time to go on working on Rageman at the moment.

@delshay

Is it the 60MHz for the 68060 that makes the memory so fast? I'm not an expert on the BPPC, but it seems to me that there is still a bit of a market for classic accelerators...

Too bad we've had like a hundred different attempts at doing a PPC-only accelerator, and all have fallen through.

Surely it cannot be that difficult. If we started with a free/open Z2/3 FPGA interface on opencores.org, like http://opencores.org/project,zorro_to_wishbone_bridge only "get it out of planning stage" , then putting a PPC SoC system on the other side of it REALLY should be a walk in the park. I do that part of it for a living.

The MPC5121e would actually excel here as it has graphics built-in AND it has a video input as well so it could do the promotion of classic video modes to windows or screens on the DVI in hardware.

For a better SoC this could easily be done in the same FPGA as handles the bridging to the Amiga side.

Using "voltage" instead of "potential", which leads to inventing new words like "amperage" instead of "current" (I, measured in A) or possible "charge" (amperehours, Ah or Coulomb, C). Sometimes I don't even know what people mean.
