Thanks, I still have a bit to do mainly just modifying some modules to work the way I like. As for workbench 5.0 info it's coming but it would be best to discuss it on that site.

Workbench 5.0 can be only part of AmigaOS 5
(which by Settlement can be licenced only by Hyperion)

It seems to be AROS theme or alike (and there is no info at all)

Seems to be beased on Zune, and that must be negotiated
(naming) with AROS team

Yes, it`s possible. You are using registered name of the component of other OS, you have just added next number making it even look like a future version.

Why don`t you name it Windows 8?

I visited some page under my desktop so google cache might help.
its still working but they stopped the site at the Commodore basic V2 page.
I can't blame them doing so, they said it'll be available in some days so you just have to wait.

I could post pages from my cache maybe...

the infos about workbench 5.0 sounds to me like it could be a another linux distro. the features that are listed, like ms office compatible office suit (open office maybe?), are not available to aros. by the way the pictures of the new so called amiga computers looks realy great. could be cool for people that want to buy a special wintel pc with a nostalgic touch in a modern look.

It used to work, but now it's stuck at the BASIC prompt.

What I saw were a bunch of bog-standard x86 cases called "Amiga xxxx", running something called Workbench 5.0. Considering the feature set, we're probably looking at an Ubuntu derivative or something with a theme slapped on top.

We'll see. I just started the OSNews item when that damn website decided to cough up blood and die. Damnit.
