It's so delicious & moist...

Good move A-eon, a great way to continue the playful press-releases.

All the best for 2011 - let's hope it sees the release of the X1000

This could do with being a news item.

If being a doubter means people get so well fed then I am sure many people will doubt future capabilities!

This has just got me laughing so hard I almost fell out of my chair.

I hope that this is a very positive sing of the things to come for the Amiga. Let's hope for a better future.

I'm going to have to investigate these special cake shops! Seems like they might be useful for more than just computer announcements!

Well, I'd take that bet. AmigaOS will not support SMP (AMP yes, but no SMP) w/o breaking backward compability, trashing caches or boxing. You can do a good AMP though.

@Zylesea

Be careful.
Amiga OS and Amiga OS inspired OSes seem to be gaining momentum.
You never know when you will be knocked over by a big surprise .

@Spectre660

Well, maybe I'll better offer to eat my hat instead of socks - I have a small collection of nice hats.
But it doesn't have much to do with gaining momentum or not, it is just not possible by design without deep changes that would lead to boxing or loss of backward compalility or cache issues. Many of the issues were discussed already in the WarpUP/PowerUp days. Though multiprocessing with identical cores will be a bit easier than with heterogene cores .
