Yes, Fab did it again and provides an update of his great browser OWB.
Read the changes here:
http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/owb-morphos-1.12.readme
Grab your copy from here:
http://fabportnawak.free.fr/owb/owb-morphos-1.12.lha

And I think a new name for that browser would be really okay. Beside the inofficial name "Fab's MUI OWB", I like Papillon or Randonneur. But of course names are not the most important things as long as the software itself is as good as in this particular case. Thumbs up!

@Zylesea

Leave it up to an OS4 fanboy to make the first comment.

Way to go Fab!

@Zylesea

This is based on the latest webkit update in March.
Considering Fab's version was released yesterday on the 5th, that's impressively fast work on his part.

@Zylesea

Indeed, great work as usual by Fab. A new name for OWB makes perfect sense.

final solution? do you realize the refference?

@thread: since im always so negative: ive never seen it working, but seems to be fine piece of sw. id wish to see a 68k, maybe an aros port. for the time being all the best to fab, especially for continous updates, and also to others who help with os4 port.

@wawa

the AROS port of OWB is quite ok, too.

@retro

if you want to be "purely Amiga", you should stay with IBrowse...

I'm assuming you are joking here because of some of the recent threads?

@retro

it's a bit useless to answer such obvious flaming, but let's have fun anyway...

So, let's say that you're right and that this news is totally alien and unrelated to amigaos.

How's your feeling about this very same program (OWB 1.9, more precisely) being ported to amigaos 4.1?

If you think timberwolf (which is coming from very alien platforms as well) is the "final solution" (very unfortunate wording...) and is proper true amigaos software (tm), a port of OWB MorphOS to OS4 certainly qualifies as well, according to your weird reasoning.

@retro

MUI OWB by FAB is being ported to AmigaOS4 by Kas1e, Fab and co,
so indirectly this version has some thing to do whit AmigaOS.
