Well, the thing is massively delayed as expected by most. But eventually it may or may not come. It it comes fine, if not, well, then not. Who really cares. The train has left station long ago anyway.
Thing is: You should *never* give anything on promises and announcements. The only thing i don't get is why so many ppl still make those fanatasy announcements and desperately try to mimick a professional business, while it is a hobby/amateurish endeavour at best.

These pictures are not public, but I have seen them. It is real. Seeing that many motherboards is quite a sight to see!

Ditto and also why people bother spending their time making elaborate 'hoaxes' as we have seen in the past. Sad.

Good to see news on the X1000 front, hope they pull it off and that Trevor and company at least manage to cover their costs in the end. Let's hope the beta testing goes smoothly and the retail machines arrive sooner rather than later.

Last I heard, the A1X1K is going to be sold for retail. I was simply asking the man, who is producing the computer, what the retail price is. Yet to you, asking what he wants for his system is trolling?

Do you really expect an answer after only 5 proof of concept boards were just built? borderline trolling if you ask me. I know c-usa will use the final price aganst a-eon to push their systems. You have no other reason to ask.

Yeah, here's hoping. Alan Redhouse from Eyetech said it would have been cheaper to have given every AmigaOne owner £500 as a golden handshake/goodbye to the Amiga scene than trying to sell the machines themselves!! Tough market.

Which shows the stupidity to build custom hardware in homeopathic doses instead of supporting what's there.
Anyway, not all companies failed to sustain on the market, Genesi and Acube are still there, albeit with pretty different approaches.
