Wow, I was not expecting it until tomorrow, Friday the 3rd, at the earliest.

Even Fed/X website showed it just leaving Memphis TN yesterday so I thought the 3rd would not even happen and be more like next week via ground service.

This shipped on Monday from the Amigakit in UK and arrived just 3 days later to my home.

Wow, is that awesome or what.

I guess Fed/X is using a super fast AmigaOne X1000 to run their operations now because I sure received mine fast fast fast.

Now, just need to find some time to open the box up.

@amigasociety

How about some pictures of the entire unpackaging operation?
Something like "Alien autopsy" would be nice.

Best regards

@ajs

Umm... yes... Mop please in aisle 1.

I took a quick video of the box and me explaining what I just received from Fed/X and then needed to get back to work.

I am now charging the phone on my vid cam so hopefully tonight I can make a un-boxing video. Just do not expect LucasFilm quality production. hehehe

Well, need to make me a paycheck so back to work I go.

More later.

I do have uploading right now to YouTube the quickie video of me explaining what I just received. Just a brown box but I think you will hear the excitement in my voice. I even bump into the door as I am taking the video.

Impressive delivery speed! Did you get a PSU lead with yours because mine was missing? Luckily had a spare one lying around.

@-Sam-

Don't know yet but will in a bit. Have not un-boxed it yet.

That would stink if I have to go buy a plug to make it run. Town is a good 20 minute drive one-way since I live in the sticks.

Will see soon.

Just a little video of the box and my excitement to just learn my AmigaOne X1000 arrived a day earlier than expected. Will do more videos of unboxing later when I am able.

After zooming in on the label in your vid, it turns out that one was meant for me.

Oh well, just send it along. No harm done.

I have my X1000 running. Uploading a unboxing video to YouTube. As normal a bit dark in spots but will get the point across I am sure. I need to get better lighting for my place as it seems pictures and video is either grainy or dark because of poor lighting.

Will post a link soon once upload is done.

I also made another one turning on the X1000 for first time but it is even darker. My office seems to be the worst in the house for lighting. Will have to see if iMovie can lighten up a whole video but doubt it does that so you may have to live with it.

Only issue I have is my case was dented. Appears Fed/X or whomever had their paws on it during transit to USA dented the vase. I see a puncture mark on both boxes and I have a nice quarter size ding on the right panel. So, have to now work with Amiga kit to get that replaced. I guess they will need to turn in a claim to carrier and all that crap. So, hope they get it all resolved. I spent enough cash where I want to have a pristine machine in front of me. Will save the boxes and all that as proof so I should be covered.

Other than that blemish, she is a beauty!

@amigasociety

Sorry to hear your X1000 got damaged in transit (happens a lot when stuff is sent to Australi too) but also glad it is working! Looking forward to seeing your youtube video of it in action!

@klx300r

I wish Hyperion would take my registration for the forums. I guess the login and password are not the same as the normal account that I own OS 4.1 on so I registered today but I guess it is not automatic for allowing me in.

I supposed to get an email from the so my account becomes approved but have not yet since signing up this AM.

Does it take many hours or days to get approved for the forums?
