If you've nothing better to do on a Sunday afternoon and feel like listening to a whacked out wee fairy story as spoken by Baron Von Bazza himself then why not download this little podcast gem of fantasies and lies and general BS...

If you can listen to it all the way to the end it'll just confirm any feelings you had that Barry Altman lives in LalaLand as he speaks of how Disney's Vice president sought him out in a desperate bid to associate Disney with CUSA or how The Vice president of SONY sought him out too (though he's not sure if it was SONY !!!)...

It's a strange wee tale to be sure but at least it comes straight from the horses mouth and just proves Barry Altman is the master of all fairy stories and undisputed king of BS & hype...

PS: The interviewer hasn't got a scooby either...

Bazza's Fairy Story Download (MP3)...

The Zdnet (f)article...

@Franko

That was well... Crap..

The entire way through it just seemed like, as you said, the interviewer didn't have a clue really about the subject. And Barry about that Sony thing was classic. I would think you would remember if a big wig at Sony had phoned you. Just pure bs all the way through.

My thoughts exactly...

Pretty sure if I were running a business similar to Barrys, that I wouldn't forget if a big shot from SONY had called me up...

Barry admitted he lied over the 30 million advertising budget and tried to blame it all on the advertising agency, just like everything else he says nothing is credible nor believable and is best taken as the delusions of a madman desperate to leave his mark on the world at any cost, even if that mark is nothing but a big brown stain on the underpants of Amiga history...

At point's, don't know if you noticed, but it was like the interviewer was swooning over the products. oblivious to the fact they appart from the C64x the rest is just rebadged stuff.

Yeah... it sounded like Barry was sitting in a nice comfy chair rattling his gums while the interviewer was rummaging around his office like a kid in a candy store being fascinated with anything he came across...

I kept waiting for him to find the light switch and ask "is this a CUSA invention"...

Much like in the picture where he is sat with a smug sense of satisfaction. I still don't understand how there seems to be very little factual information in it. If I was interviewing someone I would go armed with research and at least have some questions about the products ready. The interviewer just seemed to be eating what ever info Barry fed him. Unless part of the agreement for the interview was that it painted avery good picture for CUSA and very little questioning was done about the hardware.

Ever notice the remarkable resemblance between Bazza and and hardman "Harry Grout" the Mr Big from the old TV series Porridge...

Hopefully one day Bazza will be wearing a Slade Prison unform for crimes against the Amiga community...
