Sad thing is he actually might now be believing half the crap he post is factual. ...snipped by mod...

Especially remarks like that!

Out of the well over 100 threads you found 12. I'm so proud of you. And yet you needed to dig or use my added link to find them. :)

So tell me who posted the most CommodoreUSA threads?

Erm nope... (never even noticed you posted a link), If I want to find out what someones posted on A.org I simply go to their "profile" to find out, where it lists every post they ever made or every thread they ever started, quite simple really...

12 is still ten more than you claimed being the number of threads Dammy started, which is the point in question here...

Don't know and care to be honest but why not go find out for yourself, again it would be a simple enough task to do if you really want to waste your time doing so...

POT, KETTLE, BLACK are the only three word one can associate with that crazy and ironic statement you just made their Dammy...

Dammys "crap" predictions for 2012 That He Beleived Would Be "Factual"...

@most-but-not-all-of-this-thread

Gentlemen!
Please, explain why you are still flogging this dead horse? I mean, ok, it does tenderise it, but unless we will be barbecuing horse burgers later (steaks are better) I really don't see the point?

Being rude to each other just inflames everyone. How about pausing, go make something to snack on, then come back and think before you hit submit?

Just an idea.

Or I could post my supa-sekrit brownies recipe. Much more fun to fight over desserts.

@Yo

Only one thing beats "flogging a dead horse" and that was of course "Never Mind The Bollocks".... Oh wait different subject matter sorry...

Rude... who's being rude !!!

All I see are the friendly natives and local loonies (me included) having some nice freindly banter with each other...

You aint got the hang or this thing yet if you have to go off and leave your computer to make a snack... you should of course have enough snacks, juice, flasks of tea or coffee etc... gathered around you to last all day the way us pro's do it (oh yeah and a bottle to pee in comes in handy)...

PS: Not sure about that "Brownies" recipe though, surely their are laws against cooking junior Girl Guides...

@all

Fateful words from Henry Case who, after all the forum changes on AW in 2011 commented this hope:

Quote:
being off the front page is likely to mean you can have discussions without too much interference from disruptive parties, so there's more chance of positive debate around CUSA.

So even in their seeming absence the war drags on?

Thank goodness it's all based on cold hard analysis of facts and not based on egotism or timeless personal squabbles.

Yup old HeadCase never got that one right either...

What WAR !!!... there never was a WAR... some guy came along spinning hype and fairy tales and most of the Amiga community simply pointed this out to him (cept for a handful of folk whom believe in unicorns, the tooth fairy and that the Amiga will make a comeback one day and rule teh world)...

Or people simply posting in such threads just to try and make it look like they have something interesting or relevant to say...

Since C=USA is gone for all practical purposes, perhaps it would be best to lock this subboard?

I dunno. It's still a forum for Amiga Inc. and offshoots.
Honestly staff would have to decide whether to alter the content description.

And despite what you say, they might want to wait for an official statement from Commodore USA.

Hmmm... be a bit of an odd thing to do would that...

I mean "Commodore" is long gone as is "Jay Miner" and anyone actually producing Amiga computers are all long gone, so does that mean we should lock all threads and subboards relating to them...

Of course not... good or bad, like em or loath them they are all part of the Amiga history to greater or lesser degrees...

You don't stop talking about the past just cos you may not like it.... otherwise there'd be no point int that thing that takes up a lot of the human races time... History...

That's odd considering Amibyte still seems to be selling machines. So there must be some sort of life going on unless it's simply stock dumping to whoever will buy it.

From my emails with Leo a month or two ago, it's most likely the latter. Things may have changed since then, but I highly doubt it.

The main Amibyte website has hack a month or so back by some script kiddie attacking a vunerability within the Joomla CMS framework. Thus why it's been reduced to that mess. However the english section is still active and showing stock.

Thanks. Handed that to my daughter. She made lemon cupcakes 2 days ago and they're just about gone.
