On all your screenshots about xdock, all your docks is non transparent like amidock's ones (i.e. a little blur in the background). Its just you make it looks like this and don't touch settings in that area ?

edit: i see, its your own settings to make that look, thransparent one without color looks better imho :)

Thanks for reviewing!

Something to remember is that each subdock is configured individually, so if you want consistent showing of labels and smaller 12 size font (as I did), you need to select each one in turn in the Prefs window and select as needed.

If you want to configure all subdocks at the same time, fold the parent dock in the lister, then all sub docks will get the change you made, this only affect the setting you chnage whilst its folded, so you could fold then and set the same font across all docks, then unfold and set each to seperate colour for example.

BTW you can have infinet levels of subdocks (subject to sanity!).

For example , you could have made just one Games subdock, then made three sub sub docks for your alphabetical seperation. Then if you want all the games subdocks to be red in back ground you could fold the top games dock in the heirachical lister and apply the red background to it.

MultiViewer

The MultiViewer mark and save etc function you mention aren't new.

The new thing is the save scaled copy requester.

This seems an odd comment, X-Dock supports tranpsarency in more orless the same ways as AmiDock, both can be transparent completely if you want and or can use background images in combination with partial transparency.

You need to be on a compositing screen ofcourse.

Yeah, just found that look of xdock's main docks on Epsilon's sreenshots a bit strange, so wasnt sure if it intendent , but after recheck of his screens i can see that he set it up like this in prefs.

Nice tip, thanks for this.

That is a great idea. Might have to do that. Is there a easy way to move the existing subdocks under one Games subdock without redoing them?

I should play around with the transparency and colours of the background a bit more. I was more focused on getting the dock/subdock structure how I wanted it before I worried about the background colours too much. But you remind me I should muck around with that too - thanks for this!

It is fun customising X-Dock to my needs. Even better that it still under active development in 2018. Very happy

The Amiga Developer Team work every week on the Enhancer Software in their spare time. Often it can be hard work to get each milestone completed, but with good feedback such as yours it helps motivate us all to continue to improve the platform we are building. Thanks!
