Usually amigans are Geek and not simple users, like the tecnology and know programming , creating music and are gfx artists plus good elettronic tecnichans and be part of this group of people make me be happy and proud because i can learn write and know something that didnt know before... I can write here dozen of nick of really great programmers and people of the past and new community who make me growing up with notions and informations...

if amigans (or those who like to refer to themselves as amigans) are so smart and gifted, why is amiga (or whatever you substitute for it) thirsting so much for simplest contributions instead of being world leading computer platform? this notion dates back to the nineties and in many cases remains valid till this day as it seems. "amigans" are almost religously devoted to the fetish they hold for "amiga" and i dont see anything scary or degrading about admitting it to yourself, its rather an interesting complex.

btw, posting such endless lists of names you hardly prove anything, only make the thread unreadable, i doubt this is what you want to achieve. also bringing up antisemitism or racism as an argument in such a discussion is hardly a reasonable argument and trivializing those problems in comparison. it should be avoided.

Oh yes, famous CUSA promoter Now, without C-USA only the rant book in Italian remains,
with his selection of Amiga history.

Well, could think of some way better people and girls to spend time with Surely, Italy is not that far from Serbia, but would prefer to visit Acube then.

@all

On Ultimate PPC

a) Does it have market? Classic users are more common then NG one, but as far as I remember info, its only for A3000/4000
b) Software support: Nice wishlist, but without Hyperion and MOS Team or big funding its unlikely it will ever run anything
c) 040 onboard - why if target is OS4/MorphOS that have software emu for 68k?
d) Final price might end up more then G4 Mac or SAM board

So it was a nice idea, but on a bumpy road ...

if someone write such words ...
_______________________________________________
I myself would call you zealots ... or even better talibans ...

There is only few people who still post on Amiga forums that
actually know how all Amiga SW and HW work and have
full and complete understanding of Amiga OS.

Cdimauro is one of these people , Toni Wielen is one of these
people , Piru Sintonen is one of these people.Without such people
you will soon end up like the proud DoDo birds
___________________________________________________

Means that the other people who make hardware and softwarelLike Acube, Aeon, and all the team and pople who make Hardware and software running today dont know Amiga HW/ and NG hardware... (this why i write the long list) that people dont understand nothing ? ... or only the persons who Blizz1220 write before are only in the scene and on amigaworld who know something? ....
strange here there is Enrico Vitali and M3x and Frieden plus cloanto guys registered why only this few list of people him wrote about....
Or him is the part of the people who continue blame hyperion, Acube and the orther amigans in some forums in the italian scene?

Strange the first in his list is Cdimauro... really strange ... ... i think i make a real big center..

But you -did- say on moo:

Quote:
That being said I don't see why anyone should support Trevor anymore , not sinceHyperion AND Trevor TOGETHER made sure that AROS can't be used on a hardware withAmiga name.

So that might help him understand where you are coming from.

btw-you are wrong about that as well.

Look to the Amiga Inc. vs Hyperion (then a VOF) settlement agreement and you'll understand. Trevor had no say in that whatsoever.

He never protested and I know about the agreement and I know a lot
about the law ... I didn't hear Trevor make a protest and it was his money
that made the whole x1000 thing possible ... So I don't think he is LEGALY
responsible but moraly ... And Trevor is not my leader , which is more that
I can say for some people here so I won't hesitate to offer my critics in
a POLITE and CIVILIZED manner

You do realize though that you flame anyone who comes here and dares to
criticize Trevor Dickinson,Hyperion,Ben Herman or
anyone else that is OS4 party official ?

i dont know if people at acube or varisys (who designed x1k comisioned by a-eon) know amiga and its hardware very well. acube, perhaps, they produced minimig (but didnt design it), in case of varisys i really doubt they even wish to know anything. all they need to know is how to design ppc hardware that works with linux (and they openly talked about it in interviews).

in contrary to that toni and piru mentioned by blizz are true experts for sure (toni is developing winuae and aros68k, his knowledge is simply amazing). likely some people working on morphos and involved previously with phase5 or so (which you have omitted in your credit list as it seems) are experts too. developers involved with aros must be experts as well, since they had to reinvent the wheel, most notably another aros68k developer, jason, newcomer to the scene. and last but not least i guess core os4 developers must know something, as they apparently have access to the genuine sources.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by that.

Criticism is fairly constant here, to the point where Hyperion withdrew from posting here after quite an exchange April 2.

And there's nothing wrong at all about you being an avid supporter of AROS. We have forums for AROS and press releases about AROS on a regular basis.

Yep. That's the key. Almost anything can be discussed if we all hold to that.
