Just thought I might as well promote my video channel a bit more, never thought I'd have over 400 subscribers and over a million views for all the vids I've uploaded.

One New Video each month or sooner. Videos on Games, Software, Hardware, Events, Info, Adverts, Fun..Remember when computing was fun?

I will update this thread each time I upload a vid. Enjoy and thank you if you ever liked a vid.

AmigaOS4.1 Gaming open GL
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cy_HuORjpwU

Father of Amiga
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDL4La81R50
"Apple may of had Steve Jobs, Microsoft may of had Bill Gates, but I think Amiga had the coolest dad. Jay Miner or is it someone else."

Amiga The Global Family
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gd1qQjb__1E
"Commodore Amiga Promo I found recently named Amiga The Global Family, its all about how the Amiga was used in every day life from Schools to Business to at Home."

Only Amiga Song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yckH20ngY4Y
"A (slightly cheese) promo video/song for the world best home computer, Amiga."

Way Before Eyetoy & Kinect, Amiga had Mandala
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Y3uyTClAHA
In 1986, a small company in Toronto released a full-fledged totally programmable version of VideoPlace called "Mandala" for the Amiga computer. It was a little jerky, as the Amiga system could handle about 14 frames/second capture and processing, but it was sufficiently usable that many people bought it for personal use or for museum virtual walk-throughs, rock concerts, etc. It was used with disabled as well, as in a paralyzed kid playing virtual drums. It was the worlds first home Eyetoy or Kinect like system.

Eat a bug!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WO-Rwft6h2o
follow up to my last video, this is one of the few games/project developed for Amiga Mandala system. Eat a Bug was a game made for a kids TV show called Total Panic in the very early 90's.

Original Amiga 500 unboxing

Commodore original (and could be first recorded) unboxing video of an Amiga A500 with a very basic set up guide. (clips taken from Making the most of your Amiga video)

CES: 1984 - 30 years ago.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLcpn1_IY1A
30 years ago a special computer was shown to the world at CES for the very first time, people who saw it where amazed, awestruck and worried, it would take another year for it to be launched. But that machine was the Amiga.

Odyssey 1.16, QT Apps, MUI4 and Putty
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QMSVZBLpC8
Just a quick video I was going to show off a few more apps but the file was getting a bit big and really just wanted a extra thank you video to all the guys working on Amiga developments no matter what your working on, thanks!

Way Before Oculus Rift & Sony Morpheus, Amiga had VR 1000CS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7mtN7Sxk-E
The Amiga played a pivotal role in the early development of consumer virtual reality systems when W Industries (later renamed to Virtuality) licensed the Amiga 3000 for use in their VR machines. The 1000CS was an immersive VR environment that used a 3D joystick to track user movement. This user movement is translated into a three dimensional display that is fed to the user via the "Virtuality Visette 1" headset.

Ubuntu Linux Remix 12.04 on a AmigaONE X1000

@amigang

wow thanks for Mandala vid as i remember back in high school our computer science class did a presentation about the Mandala as the prof knew one of the owners since they lived on the same block. I remember the guy saying that RUSH and The Rolling Stones were the first customers to use it for their live concerts.

Nice video (and nice background peaceful music)

For smTube, you download the video instead of stream it, is it wanted or is it because streaming don't work for you with this program (that I ported) ?

Its a beautiful game football, not much a fan myself but had some good times on virual version of football with the likes of Sensibal Soccer/SWOS and Goal, so here is a small selection of games you can play on the Amiga.

Total Football
Kick Off
European Football
EA FIFA internatinal soccer
GOAL
Gazza Super Soccer
Football Glory
SWOS
3D World of Soccer
Eat the Whistle
Kenny Dalglish Soccer

Plus a fun fact, did you know that Commodore sponsored Chelsea football club from 1987 all the way up to 1994, footage shows of 94 match where you can clearly see them pushing the CD32.
Enjoy

Song. Fat Les - Vindaloo Song.
