@g0blin

Bravo to you and Davide to have successfully completed this long project.
And I see that Elwood and Glames made the french translation, merci ;)

"handed over to the distributors", these distributors are the usuals Amigans shops ?

Now that the game is finished we will try to explore every possible release for other platforms.

Although the graphic was originally developed on a classic Amiga with Paint, it is kinda heavy nowadays because it underwent many changes/improvements.

I cannot promise anything at the moment, but I will look into it asap. You never know ...

@Samo, Amikit

Thanks. It is really appreciated.

Android and iOS versions will sell thousands of copies!

@all

Thank you guys very much for your warm response!

It has been a very challenging yet rewarding experience. I do hope it will meet your expectations.

Having said that, I'll try to answer to some of your questions:

1) as far as distributors:

PC/Mac versions will have a Digital Delivery only version, and they will be published via www.adventuresplanet.it online shop;

Amigas like version will be produced by Acube Systems and they'll (most likely) have a boxed edition.

Other distributors may arise, but I don't have details on that yet.

2) We are trying to support other platforms as well. We do want to come out with AROS, but there are a few things we have to sort out first. For some reasons the code doesn't behave in the same way like on other systems and we need some additional time for debugging.

Also, a Linux version is feasible at this time, but tests show that we need a work around for part of the sound system.

3) Android version is also possible, although it won't come out anytime soon. As you know, TSMC is a classic point&click adventure, meaning with that: mouse over an object will tell you what the object is, click on the object to pick it up. Of course, tablet and smartphone do not sport a mouse pointer and therefore a deep mod in the game GUI will be necessary.

As far as iOS goes, Hollywood won't compile into that due to the mass of legal restrain that are currently in place to develop for such a platform.

4) finally, thanks for the tip on www.adventuresgamers.com . We'll try to make good use of it.

My best regards
g0blin

Dear all,

if you are a Linux user please be advised that the game is also playable under Linux using WINE emulator.

An issue with MP3 sounds may arise, but it was successfully bypassed using the SoundJuicer MP3 library.

If you are interested in it, please make sure it works for you by trying it on the demo before buying the game.

Best regards
g0blin

@g0blin

When the full game will be ready for ordering? On the new issue of AF there's a review of it, is this the full version of the game?

@Phantom

Hello Phantom,

that was indeed the review of the full game. The compiled codes for AmigaOS4 and MorphOS are already in the hands of the distributor and should be out soon.

PC/MacOS versions are already available HERE.

More infos as soon as I have them.

Cheers
g0blin

No words about the Game after the release.

Player comments, developers thoughts?
May I hear something about how successful was this project?

I bought once it was released.
Checked it, but not played very much.

@Lazi

Hello mate,

sorry for answering so late.

Sadly, right before the game came out, I was assigned to a new job (that still commits me as we "speak") that leaves me very, very little spare time. Therefore, even thought we managed to put the game on Steam, we never really had the time to really promote it.

The game received many positive critiques, but never really sold since it was considered way too much a niche product. In addition, despite all our efforts and all the promises we received, we are still unable to produce and sell the boxed version that all our fellow Amigans are awaiting.

We also received very bad reviews that actually I did judge unfair. I mean: I know the game is not perfect and it is "rough at edges", but it really came out from pure love and passion for Amiga and its adventures. We never received a single buck during development (it is completely self-produced) and I actually lost time (almost 2000 hours of coding by myself) and hardware (2 computers and a smartphone breakdown). No one really understood that we were trying to do our best with assets that were developed almost 14 years before, and there were no chance to upscale or redraw them. I tried to do the best I could with what I had, but many potential players deem it not enough ...

In the end, it all turned out in a little of disappintment and unaffection ... but I'm getting back on business. And I promise to do better, this time.

Thanks for your concern.

g0blin

@Migzy

Yes,

once again sorry for the late answer.
I'm currently porting the game on Android devices. The port is now complete and almost ready to be published.
I just need to solve some issues related to Play Store, which won't accept apk packages in excess of 100MB. Due to the methods used years ago to develop the graphics by the designer the package is much bigger, so I need to split it in two and download the resources afterward.

In addition, I'm currently working on the prototype for a cyberpunk graphic adventure the may see the light in a not too distant future. We'll see how it goes.

@g0blin

Good this topic popped up, I had once again forgot about this.
I originally assumed and expected it to be released through Indiego Appstore as well, and since i had some credits there, was waiting for it to appear there, but it never came so eventually it got bit forgotten by me.

Have to take some more effort to finally buy it. Although, that boxed version you mentioned would be very nice!
