Yeah, one line of code, boolean value. Often left enabled "just in case™".

There is a also a backdoor shortcut to go full screen (which can be easily overlooked) but couldn't remember it or relocate it in the documentation in order to check.

* Assuming it is written in Hollywood - I haven't looked to find out either way just reading the through various comments. If it is HW it begs the question - why not use MUI? I have first hand experience of how clunky HW can be when choosing the custom route.

Can you login to paypal in Odyssey normally?

Try spoofing as another browser.

Perhaps as a workarround, if you have a windows / linux machine, copy over the url and add credit via a main stream browser.

FWIW I fixed this after I found the "store username locally on this computer" option in AMIStore settings.

This was nothing to do with AMIStore. Today Paypal had a period of time when login was not possible. I had the same issue on Ebay and login into PP accounts. It should be working now.

@AndyGarton

For others, in the password popup window, there are SAVE REMEMBER and CANCEL options, REMEMBER only works till the next reboot (or possibly even next session of AmiStore if you restart it not sure...) the SAVE option is need for persistent saving (worked for me that way anyway).

Thanks yes - that only works for the password though (or did for me anyway).

@amigakit

Plus its next to impossible to implement good string fields that have complete functionality expected e.g. full keyboard, copypasta and mouse-text selection support.

One enhancement suggestion is to have it automatically log in on startup - it can save the username and password so it seems churlish to make the user do this manually.

I've bought Ranger to support development but AMIStore won't download it because file is not on the server. Also i can't install Radeon HD 1.2

Well I dont know about that as I just tried it this morning and still hitting the same issue, but just checked on my PC and can log in fine to my Paypal account. I tried visiting the site out side of the app but its not loading up on OWB, Odyssey, or Netsurf, would try Timberwolf but some odd reason thats not working at the moment on my system, odd, I might start a fresh with my amiga system anyway when OS4.1FE arrives to fix a few bugs here and there.
But anyone know why just Paypal would'nt work, as I just tested to see and was able to log into amigaworld, amazon and ebay on my x1000 just not paypal or even visit the site?

PS: also my account still list Radeon driver at £23. Username: amigang,
PPS: how do you change avatar?

@amigakit

Some questions please.

1. Is it possible to fix the login time? It is 7 hours behind (at least for me).

2. For users that they have already registered DVPlayer in the past, they will have to pay again ? Don't mind that, just asking to know.

3. Radiance will be a bundle including RadeonHD 2.4 driver, Personal Paint 7.3 etc, so it is better to wait for this bundle to be available instead of paying of downloading each one alone? (If I understood correctly about that bundle).

Yeah that's the impression I got - and subsequently waiting patiently for its release so I can finally enjoy acceptable video playback thanks to the graphics driver and dvplayer/m player update.

I'm waiting too, very interested (!) in what the price will be. It would be funny if it was the exact total of all the individual components added up

+1

I just want to add that I had a similar purchase problem to AndyGarton.

I purchased Personal Paint OS4 by adding it to the Shopping Bag.
I then went through the Shopping Bag to make the purchase.
It loaded the browser and I used paypal to complete the purchase.
I then clicked the link to take me back to a-eon.
The store never updated to tell me that the purchase was made but I also don't have a balance.
I checked my email and I have a receipt from paypal so there definitely seems to be a problem here.

Still, the store looks really good and I am sure the problems will be sorted out soon. I will email a-eon to sort it out.

"The store never updated to tell me that the purchase was made but I also don't have a balance."

I bought NemoSound yesterday, after Paypal end of transaction, I had to wait for 30 seconds or more for that AMIStore program was notified.

It was long but it finally succeeded automatically.

Thanks zzd10h. I'm pretty sure I waited longer than that, and I'm sure it's also just a glitch that will get sorted out. I'll update with how it all goes ...

Oh, hang on. It was an e-cheque. I must have had that enabled in paypal or something. That explains the delay.

Sorry for the false report. I'll see how it goes when it clears.
