Hello!
First of all thank you to all people that have reported problems & bugs, all issues should be fixed in this RC9.

SOME OF THE BIGGEST CHANGES
- Sometimes ACManager was not able to connect to AmiCloud, this should be resolved now.
- Due to an Hollywood bug the local index is now using a temporary fix that mimic the bugged functions, when the bug will be fixed the standard commands will be restored because this fix is a bit slower.
- Local Index is now smaller, useless and debug data has been removed.
- Added feedback to the main AmiCloud window : now when a folder and/or a subfolder is synchronized a message is shown.
- Added a cache system for the local index to avoid unnecessary reload operations.
- Minor fixes and optimizations.

Notes:
- The debug is active and you will see two windows popping out informing you about this, you can see in this windows where the log files will be saved, if no path is showed it means that the app folder is used.
- For people using MacOSX, remember to put both AmiCloud and ACManager app folders in your system APPS/APPLICATIONS folder
- Linux users may need to set the executable flag on both AmiCloud and ACManager executables

If something does not work please let me know and send me the logs at:
info@a-mc.biz

Hi all,

if AmiCloud complains about missing codesets.library please download it from here :

https://github.com/jens-maus/libcodesets/releases

Extract the version for your system and place it on LIBS:

I've tested it on WinUAE and I've successfully synchronized all my shared folders :D

Unfortunatly, for some reasons, I'm not able to take screenshots...

AmiCloud 2.0 is final now!

I am proud to present you AmiCloud 2.0 final release.
Codename "the cursed one" - Fabio had to fight a lot to get it done.. he pushed Hollywood to the limits.

Amicloud supports now SUB-Folders wit unlimited depth.
The storage space has been raised a little bit.

I need to update www.amicloud.de which sill points to the old versions.

Please use the links below until I have replaced them with the ones from the AppStore.

Current users just need to login with the exiting username and password to activate it automagically.

Yep.. amicloud is now better than some big player because you can share files publicly without traffic limit. Something others stopped offering.

More to come....

Original links on www.amicloud.de have been updated now. It is also available in the indieGO!-Appstore

@Allanon

You may want to check the iconification behaviour a bit more .. just found an obvious bug

If you try to iconify the about window, that action should iconify both windows (the about window but ALSO the main window of AmiCloud and viceversa if instead you iconify the main window while the about is opened) otherwise unespected problems may happens

Sometimes windows just disappear from screen, once instead i got an Hollywood crash

Quote:
The following network error occurred:
Nessun errore
File: Network.hws (current line: 793 - In function: CreateServer)

Of course the crash is not related to the network connection as i wasn't connected yet (just quick tested to see if program started) but still that little issue in GUI

@samo79

Thank you for your feedback :)
The network error you have reported will be managed in the next release.

About the iconify action I'm not sure about your request, are you saying that if the user iconify any opened window that belongs to AmiCloud all of them should be iconified? Is this right?
What about if the user want to just iconify the prefs or the about window?

Yes, i think it will be correct behaviour and it should be applied for all iconified windows

Well, i think it will be more adherent to standard and by the end it will be a lot easier to mantain, but you may mantain the current behaviour if you really like it, just it should work correctly
