They didn't specify which month it would be within.

@all

Amigakit stated this on 2/15/2016 in this very thread "A-EON will have some exciting 3D software related news within a month".

They will? it is 3/16/2016 that is over a month. What happened to "within a month".
and this is just "news" about 3D software. They did not say software would be released.

Kinda like: The length of a minute depends on which side of the bathroom door you are on. :D

We are currently preparing user documentation (Wiki and ReadMe), coordinating with translators for localisation files, news release and final beta testing installation image. Thanks for your patience.

Dont you know that two weeks in Amiga land is a totally different time frame than in the real word?

@Acill

It's not that bad, certainly not as bad as 2011 when 2 Amiga weeks (Aw) were trading at an all time low of about 26 Gregorian weeks (Gw).
I agree it has been slipping from its 2014 high when 2 Aw was trending at 4 Gw. I think by the end of the 2015 it slipped down 8 Gw.
Right now I'd have to say the overal 2 Aw index is at about 9 Gw as Morphos team is also seeing greater than usual delays most likely associated with the X5000 delay. If we break it down into commodities then 2 Aw is trading at:

Cloanto 3.0 Gw
AROS 3.5 Gw
AmigaKit 4.0 Gw
Individual 4.5 Gw
A-Eon 9.0 Gw
Morphos 10.0 Gw
Hyperion 13.0 Gw

NOTE: The index calculation takes into account the amount of time extending beyond the proclamation made or indicated, and the number of proclamations made.
NOTE 2: Of course the numbers presented are based on my own perception but it is quite possible to gather this data and perform such a calculation. I just don't have that kind of time.

@agami

interesting calculation

I only wonder about how you calculate Aros and Cloanto there? Where was what date promised?

Or do I understand you wrong?

@OlafS25

I used cadence trends, which translates to "proclamations indicated". Looking at average times between minor and major updates, regularity of beta releases, comments made at conferences, and so on.

Cadence example:

Morphos had established a cadence since 3.2 that has now slipped to 3.1 days back in 2012.
