@AlicePPC

Very good question.
If PC created content can be dropped into the Amiga version then there is little need for an Amiga editor.

I wonder...

If the editor will be funded, will it be ported to Amiga as well?

No, at least not for now. I was just told that it'll be a stand-alone Windows-only program (C#, Windows-UI, etc.). The NG Amiga ports are about the game itself only.

That will be the case of course. The ports will be "compatible".

@Daytona675x

On the other hand, Amigans prefer being creative on the Amiga, so if at all possible to at least open up the file formats used, there's a chance someone will make one from scratch. I'm really keen on games with content editors, they have so much longer afterlives

(spamming the forums, JK).. well two of them....

Just doubled my pledge and it's now over 51,000+ which means.....

......
FLOOR 3: Modding tools ( 51.000€ )

This stretch goal will finance a proper WYSIWYG editor, integrating all the required tools to build levels from the ground up with your own assets or ours.

7 hours to go....

Cool, so glad we're getting this on the Amiga, it's what our platform needs, hopefully they'll see our platform as a viable one after the support our community gave them

@colin419

Yes, I can confirm that my personal donation of 500 EUR was debited from my creditcard so the project is definitely going ahead.

@Hyperionmp

Thanks so much for supporting it mate, that's a massive amount.
I was posting it to Facebook, uploaded the trailer to my YouTube channel & went for the £35 version, wanted that physical copy
I'd would have loved to donate £500.
I've always said if I won the Euro millions then I'd pump millions into our platform.
Here's hoping lol.

@All

Those who paid for the Alpha testing, the first alpha is out now so check your emails.

Need to check, but if i'm allowed to, i'll upload a video of the alpha so far.

PS This is only regarding the PC Alpha version, once the game is complete, Daytona should get the source for the Amiga Port.

@TheAMIgaOne

is not better to wait for a finished game before starting the port, alot of changes could come

That's basically exactly what he wrote.

Yes, like he said, that's the plan. According to my latest information from today this source-code-state where it will make sense for me to start porting will be reached at some point in February (don't nail me or Marco or whoever on that date, that's just the current plan).
