Hammer quoted the whole article at first which was highly questionable as far as fair use. The article is short and it is sometimes permissible to quote a whole article though.

https://www.copyright.gov/fair-use/index.html

After Hammer's edit, the moderators may be more concerned about censorship of fair use material than about a copyright violation.

It has yet quoted a consistent part of the original. So, the fair use is questionable, since it's not a "small amount".

Anyway, what's interesting here is that:
- amiga-news.de is likely running on a German server;
- The BOT is writing from Australia;
- amigaworld.net is likely running on an USA server.

Which copyright law applies in this case is a question mark..

This is why having airtight licensing agreements and clear ownership transfers is critical in tech. The way Oberheiden P.C. breaks down IP contract disputes really highlights how companies like Cloanto can step in and legally secure assets that have been floating in legal limbo for years. Smart move on their part.

I suggest you to don't file a lawsuit against he/him, because you could lose it as the judge would recognise the subject's inability to understand the elementary notions of law.

It would be better to report the post and/or write to Steve requesting its removal.

You're a Mario bot. Cry me a river.

@thread

Whereas the above is the quick summation from Pacer, which often precedes the public posting of the documents, the following actual court filing essentially states the same info:

Court Listener document

Basically it's just stating the appeal memorandum is now official in the eyes of the Washington State court.

Any chance the usual few squatters can create their own topic and keep quarreling there ?
Please, could you read the topic name before keeping on rage posting again and again the same old rants plus random childish new stuff ?

@IridiumFX: the main problem is that the forum is plagued by bots which randomly write non-sense everywhere.

You're wrong about Win3.11 enhanced mode not requiring 386 PMMU. You fucking ignorant fool.

@agami

Hah yeah - if I could have deleted my post I would. I misread some court docs and thought there was new information but there wasn't.

And I was going to rant about the offtopic garbage above but instead contributed to it.

A little bump here never hurt :)

Again, this is a further prove that bots don't know the context and randomly write on completely different discussions. In fact, the above is related to this thread: https://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=43330&forum=16&start=560&viewmode=flat&order=0

It also proves that bots have NO memory, since an answer was already given in that thread.

But likely, and much simpler, it's also because bots do NOT understand.

Unfortunately, bots have a lot of time on their hands (which humans do not have), and they also infest other places:

https://telegra.ph/Opinion-PPC-68080-and-other-660-comments-07-25-2
i'm still not convinced if you are human or some AI driven weird bot

http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?s=637f13770c1a6df46269da40062f3141&p=1758051&postcount=722
I still wonder if hammer is just some locally trained LLM with some human editing.

It's a drama...

You're still wrong about Windows 3.1's enhanced mode. Ignorant fool.

https://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=43330&forum=16&start=560&viewmode=flat&order=0#880079

PCX V2.1 demo has disabled 386 MMU. Ignorant fool.

There's a thing called EMM386. Ignorant fool.

Anyway, you got the proper reply on the proper thread: https://amigaworld.net/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=43330&forum=16&start=580&viewmode=flat&order=0#880647
