Not sure if it runs without struggling on AmigaOS4 nowadays, but back when i switched to NG i used their program to check *every* single disk and software i had...found a lot of beasties still hidden in some programs.

It can also remove most of the virii without killing the whole program

What is the most system friendly virus-killer using xvs.library, that runs on OS4.1FEU1 without DSI errors/crashes?
I have a lot of .adf floppies I created from my real disks many years ago that I`d like to check/repair, mounting them with DiskImage.

@Cass

A favorite of mine was VirusExecutor. On my A1200 anyway. However I have never got it to work on any version of OS4 that I have tested. The problem is xvs.library 33.42. Off that VHT site. VE loads up and says it needs xvs.library 33+! Well I have that! In fact I tried VE 2.34 just then and the included xvs.library 33.40. Same error. This has been a problem for years. I've never solved it. I need a working debugger so I can step through the library opening procedure to see what's going wrong. But since the OS4 trap code exceptions are and likely to remain broken that's not going to happen soon. Unless someone writes a patch. Or an OS4 68K debugger.

@amigang

as a funny side note amiga virus work in aros 68k. I was very surprised when I realized that one time my distribution was polluted with a amiga 68k virus. Fortunately it was not very aggressive.

@Cass

Choose one

I remember using "Mill" back when i checked my disks (fast, light and easy to use), but i don't know if they still work.
Maybe using the workaround by installing it under emulation and checking your .adf's from there, if all else fails?

@amigang

Amiga viruses are well spread and they are more frequent than you may think.
Sometimes viruses even get uploaded to Aminet. I have reported viruses on Aminet for example here - http://www.amiga-news.de/en/news/AN-2003-03-00169-EN.html and fortunately they get removed fast.
On my classic Amiga I was using MuForce (Enforcer alike program) that was issuing warnings when some odd memory access happens (this helps a lot in debugging) and this helped me getting protected from nasty viruses and hopefully I have protected many other people when I find them.

But Amiga people are still getting infected even today, even if Anti-Virus software is available for free. I have read many forum posts about people having strange behaviors with their Goteks getting their adfs infected on the flash drives! Even this woman has a virus https://youtu.be/CV1jQzEEaR0?t=13m58s and she has good technical knowledge.
