@outrun1978

Very well done and thorough report (above).

Just one question...

The only page hit I got for "hyperion" was your mention:

Quote:
I was wearing one of Hyperion’s new sweatshirts

No news?
No participation in the lectures?

@number6

No news from Hyperion aside from an update to 3.1 which solves some timing fixes and which they were demonstrating on an A4000 along with Ibrowse 2.5

I did ask one of the Friedens about Libre Office it was told it was still in Beta.

Like the MorphOS crew they don't like to give too much away Lol

Rather than continue to link to individual postings, you can follow the 2 active threads on A1k, as more pics and video links appear:

Official information about AMIGA 32 in Neuss

and

Amiga 32 photos

And on OS4welt:

Heh, ^ will give you some idea of the size of the show and which luminaries were in attendance.

HunoPPC has his X5000 in this nice case. I really like the display at the top.

That a "Thermaltake Commander" just bought one for my C=-Blacksilver7000

Biggest issue is that it can control 5 fans, but has only 1 temp sensor

At least I can manually reduce the speed which didn't work with the 3,5" 3 channel one I used before (this one has 3 temp sensors......).

Guess I'll have to build something myself......

Thanks for all the pics, I think this show has taken over Amiwest for its size and attendance.

It's very clear that the hot topic of Amiga 32 regards the 3.1.4 (tentative) information.

Already 5 pages here

It should answer many of the questions I've read on various forums.

@amigang

It was a brilliant day out, totally exceeded my expectations and was nice to have the mix between touring the various stands and the presentations.

Was great too not be ripped off with catering prices. Took a non Amiga friend with me and it appears he has been converted.

That amiga32 show looks much better and positive in compare with last amiwest.. Maybe because amiwest always was about those unrealistic plans from hyperion, and once there is none, nothing to show :)

Good to know that Daniel finish with Wings at last , as well as morphos 3.10 for x5000 in good shape already.
