Hi,

I have installed Scala MM300 on Amikitx however it will not open and quits saying it cannot find Scala. font 11. I have searched for this font everywhere and been unable to find it. Does it refer to another font by the nameScala font 11?

Thanks

B

@Bowler

Sounds like it might not have installed properly. Did you actually run the installer or just copy over an already-installed directory. There should be a scala.font file in FONTS: and a matching scala drawer containing a file named 11. These are included with Scala, so you won't find them elsewhere.

If you do have them on your system but it still can't find them, try running FixFonts in the System drawer.

@Daedalus

Thanks for your reply.

Yes I ran the installer (CUCD 19).

Very strange as i cannot find the font anywhere.

Maybe try installing again.

Not 100 per cent sure where to install programs in Amikt.

I will look for the font again.

Thanks

B

@Bowler

Where the program itself is installed doesn't really matter so long as the assigns or whatever are set up correctly. I would search the CD and see if the font is there - it's not unknown for cover CDs (and even commercial CDs) to have buggy installers that need fixing later on.

@Daedalus

Hi,

I found the fonts on the cd and installed them manually.
All seems to be working now.

Thanks,

B
