We will release a demo version of the game this friday and hope to get a full release this weekend too!
The game is aimed to run with Warp3D Nova but it also runs with MiniGL on lower devices.
On X1000 and X5000 you will be able to play in 1080p resolution (or 720p with AntiAliasing). A Sam 460 is able to play it in 720p.
With MiniGL it is not as nice but we hope playable on computers like sam440, Pegasos 2 or AmigaOne XE.
Here some gameplay videos:
X1000, RadeonHD 7750, 720p with Antialiasing, Nova/OpenGLES https://youtu.be/CODMuIOA9LY
Sam440, 700Mhz, Radeon 9250, 720p (640x480 or 800x600 is smoother but our capture device does not get this resolutions) https://youtu.be/0mtjvGiS-0M
Our gameplay trailer of Spencer: https://youtu.be/BXHJXyliuZE
Some Links: http://www.amiboing.de/gameDetail.php?id=25 http://entwickler-x.de/spencer
Thanks also for looking at our Windows version on Steam, thanks for purchasing and rating once the game is finished (ratings helps us to get noticed a bit). The Steam Version will be also available this weekend:

Thanks for reading, Thomas

Yes I saw that. The amiboing.de link is broken and the other link is just for Windows. And as I stated earlier somewhere the readme in the OS4 archive mentions a PC as a requirement. I know the OS4 port is second best but they don't have to make look second best by just having Windows outside an Amiga forum. |

Amiboing is currently down because we have to rework it for DSGVO/GDPR. With our currently limited time we did not finished it, so it is down for a while... But the game informations are the same as on our entwickler-x website, beside the fact that the amistore shop is not yet listed.
As most softare these days, you can buy Spencer on AmiStore and in our case in alinea webstore too.
The game is focused for Warp3D Nova enabled graphics card, your Radeon HD5450 is not compatible. Before purchasing, you are able to try the demo version (which you found?).
Spencer has a fallback for MiniGL but it is more a test case. It runs in most cases (if gfx memory is enough) but it is not that fun as on Warp3D Nova supported devices.... and it is a little but ugly without shadows ;)
In future, our focus will be Warp3D Nova only because in year 2018 we have to go a little bit forward :)
EDIT: We also think about making CD version for next games again. Last edited by imagodespira on 13-Jul-2018 at 07:19 AM.

From a R7-250x to a Polraris RX 5504GB is atleast a great step forward !
The GfxBench2D scores wil not be doubled I guess ?

Nice!
What about classic Warp3D? Is the speed increase similar? |

Currently no option for the classic Warp3D . This would be the option in the works : Warp3D Nova version of MiniGL

Such solution (MiniGL via Warp3D Nova) would be certainly an improvement. Too bad there aren´t passively cooled variants of these new cards. |

Just trying to recap on the non-Warp3D-Nova support... So a SAM460ex with a Radeon HD4550 has no chance of playing this, or should it work with just plain Warp3D? Currently all I get is a "could not open RenderSurface" with the subtext "could not create GL context" when trying to start the game.
I'm still not in the Nova world - lacking a suitable singleslot, low-profile, preferably fanless gfxcard supported by W3D-Nova.

you will need a gfx card which supports plain Warp3D (Radeon 9xxx series) or a "Southern Island" Card for Warp3D SI (which is also Nova Compatible).
Another possible solution is Emulation with Wazp3D: http://aminet.net/package/driver/video/Wazp3D
But the results are not very good.
Here an image of my Sam460 (Radeon 7750), the single Slot problem solved this way :

| Spencer also works with Radeon Polaris (Rx) cards . Once the Polaris drivers become available this will also be an option. It is easier to find a Polaris card that works with a Sam460ex than a new Radeon SI card that does. I tested 3 newer model Radeon SI cards that did not work and 2 Polaris cards that worked . The Polaris cards take up 2 slots so one of the alternate mounting options above would be required.

As I don't think that Polaris driver will be released any time soon (well, before the end of 2018 hopefully), let's not talk about unreleased products.
ATM, the only supported cards for end users are those cited by AmiBoing. _________________ PowerMac G5 2,7Ghz - 2GB - Radeon 9650 - MorphOS 3.14 AmigaONE X1000, 2GB, Sapphire Radeon HD 7700 FPGA Replay + DB 68060 at 85Mhz |

Do not worry.
I am preparing the Polaris driver release as we speak.
I have to first get the Enhancer Software v1.4 our the door and then will follow the Radeon driver pack.

Thanks for clarifying - guess I will have to think more 3-dimensional and try to push a newer gfx card into my (low profile) SAM460 case in some way :)

| Ooops!
Mailing EntwicklerX just bounces my mail...
So I'm asking here instead.
With the v1.4 of the Enhancer Software, my Warp3D Nova suddenly started to work (it has never worked for me before)...
So I bought Spencer a couple of days ago. A very nice game with superb graphics! And it plays very well indeed! But on my Sam460ex there is a small problem. I clicked of (deactivated) the music in the settings, to try playing with only the sound effects on. It had no effect though, the music still plays. So I went back to the settings just to see that the music still was deactivated...
Has anyone else experienced this?
