Is there any current Amiga software that can open and render .stl files?

@broadblues

When was it last updated for the Amiga platform? I went to the current website and don't see an Amiga version there:

Interesting. Looks good on OS4. I wonder how up to date the OS 4 version is.
I dabble in OpenSCAD on the PC to create .stl files for 3D printing...

I take it the classic (OS 2/3.x) version is quite old?

It's based on the 2.48/2.49 code base (give or take an svn commit). It would be planty fine for what you asked about.

Not aware of any "classic" port of blender, would be challenge to run it if there were as t need about 80Mb just to get out of bed

True, but the original author did start out developing NEO GEO games on the Amiga when he first developed an early version of it way back in the 1987-1991 period. It wasn't until 1998 where he formed NaN to work on it exclusively. Pretty sure that is more than '2 weeks' prior to OS4's initial release.
