Rubbish IMHO. The CD32 and A1200 had no 3D chips on board. Tales from Heaven was just about possible on a 060 so perhaps that graphcs style is the answer.

It works nicely with 68040
68040 CPU is most underestimated CPU in Amiga world! Maybe because A4000 has a CPU board without memory, wich limits it speed a lot?
*With 68040 is possible play every Amiga's 3D game in decent speed, except Quake. *25mhz 68040 is 2x faster than 50mhz 68030 *If you try to buy 68060 CPU it is good change that you get scammed. *If you try to buy 68040 CPU you most likely get it cheaper than you could get 68030 CPU

Oh yes, Americans in particular loved those 040 WarpEngine boards didn't they? 040s run too hot and yes the standard A3640 accelerators are crippled compared to equivalent Phase5 accelerators due to lack of fast memory slots! So yes the 040s have a bad name but the 060 is a far better / cooler running chip and was not hampered by badly designed Commodore CPU boards as Apollo and Phase boards were great!
For years I ran Quake on my desktop A4000 with a Warp Engine '040/40 and 48 Mb of RAM. Found it pleasantly fast. Only brief hesitation as it loads more data from the hard drive.

I played it on my A4000/060/PicassoIV setup. That game is so annoying. It's fiddly. I've never fallen off the side in a 2d platformer like I have in this 3d platformer. I had to hack the game save file to give myself plenty of lives so I could finally complete it and stop playing it once and for all. Yelp!
