@all

Rooms are starting to book up. I'd recommend calling the hotel to make your reservation. Just be sure to mention you are with AmiWest.

Cheers,

@tekmage

Yes, the rooms are starting to book up. We have a reserved block of rooms between October 11 and October 14 (checking out on the 15th). Be sure to tell the front desk people that you are booking for the AmiWest rate.

Also, even if you are using rewards points to book the room, tell them that you're with AmiWest anyway. That way, we credit the room block properly and get credit for your room. It doesn't cost you anything extra and it keeps the cost of the facility low for SACC, since the rates we pay for the facility are predicated on the number of rooms we sell for the show. Even if you're just booking for the weekend, it helps the show AND you get a lower rate if you reserve in advance. They don't charge your card until you check out.

We are celebrating two decades of AmiWest this year. Come and join the party! Don't forget to check out the blog at

@remotenemesis

Not me! Wasn't the A.L.I.C.E. team promising to strike a deal with AmigaKit last year for UK distribution? One year on and the UK users still have to import them themselves from the U.S.! Don't know what to believe anymore regarding Amiga news! Could someone ask whether the Prisma Megamix is compatible with the Rapid Road USB card connected to the Prisma's clockport! I mean asctually ask AmigaKit on record at a Q&A so we know once and for all! I keep asking on here but if it's asked at an Amiga event maybe AmigaKit will be guilted into actually answering the question! Here's hoping

I mean I love the company but call a spade a spade and if it doesn't work then be truthful and offer some clarity Who knows I might buy one anyway but until they answer.... no chance!

Maybe next year with a Tabor inside. ;)

I'm all booked up! Am I correct in thinking there is no entrance fee but donations are accepted?

I will be going again to support my SACC friends and because it's where I live!

It is free to get in so your only expense is the room and the cost of getting there. Bring some $$ as there is usually stuff for sale. With Amikit and AmigaOnTheLake there you know there will be some goodies you can't resist! Plus SACC usually has a rummage table of stuff. So bring an extra case.

We have a LOT of CRT monitors (1084s etc.) So let us know if you want one and we will bring some to sell to raise money for the club and the event. They will be cheap!

@sinisrus

Not for many many years.

Instead they have a representative speak for them.

This year? Who knows?
